Take a seat on the bench in the garden and be mesmerised by the light of the midnight sun and the play of the northern lights. With a bit of luck, you can watch seals and whales travelling through the fjord from here. A walk across the extensive natural grounds is also worthwhile, as you are staying on historic ground: Settlements from the Stone Age have been discovered here.



Try your luck at fishing and visit Tromsø, the gateway to the Arctic, with its Arctic Sea Cathedral and the Polaria Museum. Depending on the season, explore the spectacular fjord landscape on a hike or take a reindeer sleigh ride.
