Welcome! We are Sara and Mike, and have been living in the Hudson Valley since 2006. Sara is originally from the Pacific Northwest and Mike is a New Yorker- we met while living in San Francisco and have made our home in New York.
We love meeting new people, bringing people together and learning about other places and cultures through travel.

After parking at the top of this 4-level property (space for 4 cars), you will descend 1 flight of stairs to the main floor entry.
Copake Lake views greet you on the main floor where you will find the living room w/ woodstove, renovated and fully stocked kitchen with DW and microwave, dining room w/ space for 10 people, renovated full bath with walk-in shower, King BR, deck with outdoor sofa, gas grill and table for 10.
The stairs up bring you to the loft with comfy Queen sofa bed, yoga mats and blocks, renovated full bath with bathtub and a King BR.
Downstairs from the main floor you will find the screened in porch with table and lounge area, TV room with woodstove, Queen murphy bed, renovated full bath with walk-in shower and "bunk room" with 2 twin beds and 2 twin trundle beds. Laundry room available for weekly guests.
The lakefront and boathouse are 2 flights of stairs down from the lower level where you will find lounge chairs, folding chairs and umbrellas to relax on the dock and grass, 2 paddleboards, one 2-person kayak and lifejackets. The lake is shallow at the dock- no diving allowed. The swim platform is directly in front of the dock - no diving off the platform.
The interior has been updated with 3 new bathrooms and a new kitchen in 2022 and is ready for guests! The exterior retaining wall/bulkhead and lakefront renovation is planned for spring 2023 and we look forward to welcoming spring and summer guests then.
