Silver Pines at Tamarron Resort is a completely remodeled, mountain modern studio condo (HighPoint #571) featuring a fully functional kitchen, one full bath with attractive finishes, and a private deck. It’s situated in a peaceful escape, set amidst arguably the most beautiful scenic valley in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

Highlights include a King bed, Queen sleeper sofa, smart TV (DirectTV cable plus streaming services Sling, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, and HBO Max). The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave. Gorgeous walk-in shower, washer & dryer in the condo. The deck faces west views of trees, red cliffs, and the golf course.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

We booked Silver Pines 571 so we could golf at the Glacier Golf Club. The unit was perfect for our three night stay. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! (See attached photo). Property has multiple restaurants one that has live music Friday and Saturday. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities of the resort. Will have to plan extra time on our next trip!

Great stay in Studio place. Comfy and had all the things we needed for our stay. This spot was clean and easy to access. We had burgers from the Grille and breakfast at the Mineshaft. Loved the balcony and spent time just taking in the hummingbirds and mountain view.

Worth It

This property was perfect for our time in Durango. The view was more stunning than the photos. The resort amenities were top notch ( golf course and restaurants). The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed. The only downside was the front desk staff at Tamarron…not what you’d expect from a high end resort. They acted like they were being bothered any time you came in with a question.

Good location and amenities

The place was spacious and very well appointed. Our only complaint was the cheap pillows which were very uncomfortable and the fact that there is a large gap between the wooden headboard and the mattress. So our pillows would fall down into the gap. Otherwise, a delightful property in a stunning setting.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Misrepresenting the location of this property to be in the same building as the hot tub, pool, gym , and spa is wrong. There is no address in the VBRO listing that confirms it is anything other than connected to the facilities . It’s over 2 miles away and it’s wrong to suggest otherwise. Cannot recommend misrepresenting your location .

Family vacation

Terrific condo with resort having 3 restaurants and a great gym. Area was also beautiful in the San Juan mountains. Would definitely book again.

Great place to stay!

We loved staying at this little Condo for our short time in Durango. It was very nice and the view from the balcony was great. It's a very quiet area at night and some great places to eat are not too far down the road. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Great place about 20 minutes north of Durango. Loved that this studio felt so roomy, and the patio was great. In a "fancy" golf resort but the vibe was casual. Loved the electric fireplace and the couch and bed were comfy for relaxing. Cliifside Bar was close and decently priced.

Nice place for a getaway

I have not had a bad experience yet with the Vacation Rental Collective, but this place was especially well maintained and recently updated. I had a great stay. The balcony has a nice view, and I spent a lot of time out there working on the computer. Better in the morning than the afternoon due to the sun. There are many great area hikes, especially in the Silverton area. The Valley restaurants for the Glacier community are available to the general public. The Prospector restaurant is very good. I had a battery warning on one of the remotes for the TV, and a new set of batteries was delivered within 20 minutes. Dishes, towels, sheets, etc. very clean. No dishwasher that I could find. Washer and dryer are available in the unit.
