Nice view.

Our stay was nice. Close to the beach and we saw a bunch of dolphins from our balcony. A good cleaning could make this place 5 stars.

Beach Getaway

This is a perfect place if you want to be at a less crowded section of the beach. It was a perfect spot for the July 4th fireworks show we were able to watch it from the balcony

Perfect location away from the craziness of Gulf Shores. Perfect for families with close beach access. 2 bed/2 bath with bunkbed alcove. Convenient location to both Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Park pass thru close to condo to avoid traffic.

We love Royal Palms because it’s family friendly and has all the amenities we need at a reasonable price. The condo was clean, well furnished and comfortable. We would definitely return to this unit.

Multiple ocean views

Several windows in the condo with sweeping ocean views. Ours was the last condo so the beach area didn’t seem as crowded. We were mainly in the condo to sleep, didn’t cook. Spur of the moment trip for our anniversary. I’d definitely like to stay at Royal Palms again.

Great location and view

We have stayed at the Royal Palms for several years. The location near the state park is excellent. Each year they seem to keep making improvements to the faucilty. This VRBO had an excellent view, clean and beautiful. You can walk for miles on the beach in each direction and the residents of the Gulf Shores area are always friendly and helpful. Great location

Master bedroom is a decent size but guest bedroom is small. Unit was in good shape but could have been cleaner. Mattresses need replacing and recliner is rickety. Hot tub needs improvements.

It was nice that it had a washer/dryer in the unit. We liked that the condo building was the last one before the Gulf Shores State Park. We were able to social distance from others. It was very congested further up the beach, and very little social distancing.

The location is great! Unit could use some updates. The carpet in the bedrooms is very worn and dirty. It needs to be replaced asap. Beds were comfortable. Other than the carpet needing replacing, dates it was as described. I always take air fresheners, sheets to cover furniture and my own bedding when I stay at any rental units.

Peffect getaway

We came to vist our kids for xmas and decided to do a few days at the beach. This condo fit our price and what needed for #sleeping. Furniture a bit large for family living area.I would say dated appliances and kitchen. But worked fine. Loved the corner unit and views outstanding. The beds were wonderful. THE VIEWS are what made it. And location easy. We would stay again.

We love Gulf Shores! I do have to say, it was the busiest we’ve ever seen it. Our condo had several issues. Missing batteries in remotes, light bulbs that need replacing, radio didn’t work, beds not comfortable. Actual wire out the side of a bed. Really time for owner to invest in new mattresses. Weather was as expected. Lovely!

We usually are very prompt in handling any and all cleaning issues. Update: As of October 2024 there is a new flat screen Smart TV and a new Lazy Boy recliner. All bedroom flooring was replaced with LVP. The beginning of November the condo also went through a professional semi annual deep cleaning.

One thing that caught my eye in the photo when selecting the condo. The recliner. It was a must since my husband has had two knee surgeries this year. First thing before unpacking, the recliner became stuck in the reclining position for the entire week. Also, there was a red stain on the sheet in the guest bedroom. Otherwise, it was a very nice condo. Lots of kitchen items, ice maker was awesome, lots of towels & bath cloths, the washer and dryer were very quiet. Fix the recliner, I will certainly rent again.

Hello Scarlett, Thank you for your 5 star review. We are so glad you enjoyed your time. As of October 2024 -We have replaced the previous recliner with a lazy boy recliner and changed the master bed for a King mattress. The owners replaced the carpet with LVP and had a new flat screen TV. The unit went through the annual professional deep clean. We hope to have you stay with us again!
