Roaches!
In the first 20 minutes of arriving, we found 3 large roaches in the entryway/kitchen. We searched the cabinets and couldn't find Raid so we left and bought some. We found 2 additional roaches the following morning from our spraying.
We tried to contact property management promptly after seeing the roaches, shortly after arriving at 10:00, because the email said they were available until 11:00. Then we saw on the welcome paper that they closed at 10:00. So this was also quite inconvenient.
Additionally, we were concerned by the state of the home. There were lots of scuffs on the walls, loose carpet, and a general look of being under renovation, along with all of the upstairs smoke alarms being removed from the ceilings and left on surfaces. The window in the 2nd upstairs bedroom was also left open (without a screen) all day, letting bugs into that room. We also found a used bandaid under the master bed, and dirt under the sheets of the 2nd upstairs bedroom.
We contacted the property management with these issues, primarily the roaches, and only received one reply. That reply seemed like they were going to resolve the issue, but did request some additional info (including pictures of the roaches). We did not hear back from them after sending those pictures and reiterating our concerns, and have still not had any response, after the dates of the trip.
Due to the pests and other issues above, we did not even complete our stay in this location, opting to get a hotel instead.
