The Space:
Spread out across three levels of comfort in this spacious duplex designed for both short and extended stays. The main living floor features a bright living room with smart TV, a dedicated dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. Each of the three bedrooms includes a comfortable queen bed, and there is an additional sleeping option with extra pillows and blankets available. With three full bathrooms plus a powder room, getting ready is easy-no waiting required!

Please Note: This is a historic three-story home with all bedrooms located on the second and third floors. The interior stairs, especially the set leading to the top floor attic bedroom, are narrow and may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns, small children, or older adults who prefer easier access. We want every guest to feel fully informed and comfortable before booking.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Easy check in. Great follow up just to make sure everything was satisfactory. Second floor was a little warm but not a big deal. Place was just like the pictures. Parking was perfect. Very close to a lot of the activities we were there for. Surrounding area is being rebuilt and looks amazing.

Rustic for sure

Good location, close to the city. Nice deck in the back but no seating, which made it hard to enjoy. Paint patches in some rooms were different shades. Made the house look very undone and unkept. Furnishings in dining room were very rustic and not safe to sit on.

Host cancelled my reservation day of check-in with no refund

My reservation was cancelled the day of check-in and they did not refund me. When I inquired, I was told that the host considered me high risk of throwing a party. Couldn't be. I have positive reviews of all my past VRBO stays. Further, I'm 50 with a family, and was travelling with my co-worker to Indianapolis for work. No party here. This left with me with the challenge of finding a place to stay while trying to do the work I was in Indianapolis for.I messaged with the host (Home Base). They were not helpful.Home Base still charged my credit card, and I have yet to receive a refund.I will never stay with a property managed by Home Base from now on.

No response from host when a critical car accident caused us to have to leave property.

We didn't even stay the evening. We checked in, went to our conference for 1 hour. We received a call that one of our wives, were in a traumatic car accident, 2 children were transported to an area hospital, and the wife was care flighted to Dayton Hospital, ohio Ohio

Seemed not quite ready for guests

The place was in a pretty good location but further away from downtown than we thought. Tv and Internet did not work. Luckily we had a hotspot to watch the game on Thursday night. Shower in upstairs was hard to even get warm water. Overall it was not bad but just needs a few more updates and accommodations to make the stay better.

School Group

Stayed here with a group of students. Great location with tons of parking in the back, off the streets. Safe neighborhood. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. We were expecting there to be more cooking supplies, but it seemed to be mostly odds and ends. No pot holders or rubber spatulas. Could only find one dish towel. We also didn't initially notice that all of the heat from the oven can escape to the bottom drawer of the oven (where the cookie sheets are kept). Therefore, when we pre-heated the oven and found the cookie sheets, one of us seriously burned our hand by picking up a cookie sheet at 350 degrees. The cookie sheet was in the bottom storage drawer. Upon further inspection, we noticed we could see the glow of inside the oven, from underneath. We've never seen an oven like this before. Seems like a safety concern. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for our group close to the convention center!

Great simple stay

We enjoyed our super short stay and had no issues. It was very spacious and well kept. It was extremely overpriced, but we visited when Taylor Swift was in town, so that was to be expected.

Spacious, Clean, Convenient

A very spacious home, great kitchen with all the amenities necessary. The parking at the back of the house is spacious and convenient. A short drive to the Lucas Oil Stadium. There’s a supermarket a few blocks away.

Mixed feelings

The property wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best ever either. It was safe and a great location for downtown. However, upon arrival it took us almost an hour to get into the property as the keypad battery was dead and we couldn’t input the entry code. It was difficult finding contact info for host for help. They did eventually get us in. But it was raining and stressful. The house was clean. Very spacious. But very obviously cheaply flipped. Light switches were backwards. Shower water on third floor backwards. (Cold is hot/hot is cold). Plugs upside down. Lots of switches that didn’t work. Light bulbs out. Beeping water system all night. Minimal furniture and kitchen supplies. Freezer needs dethawing. Don’t expect to accommodate the 7 it says outside of the three beds. The beds are comfortable though. Ceiling fans an amazing plus. Quiet neighborhood. It worked for what we needed, but would probably not choose this property again if in the area.

Wonderful

I love the character of the home. The windows/window seals need to be cleaned other then that the inside was elegently decorated with a lot of open space. The owner was very accommodating and understanding.The home had a third floor that felt like a whole different house. I loved it. Wìsh i could have stayed longer.😍😍😍😍

Quick fix and flip in upcoming neighborhood

Exterior: multifamily home with 2 units. One on the left, one on the right. Decent, exterior. Beautiful surrounding properties and parking behind. Interior: When you walk in, its beautiful, smaller than what i expected, but still beautiful. Then you walk into the kitchen and you start to feel like you know that this is a quick fix and flip for a high price. No luxury. Simple basic, kitchen and it felt so empty that my music echoed in the kitchen. As you go upstairs, you start noticing how old the house really is. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor. The steps are crooked getting there. The floors of the house are not level. They tilted! I kept rolling to one side of the bed at night because of this! The bathroom is upgraded but the cheap workmanship is hard to ignore! The toilet handle didnt work well, the shower door was off the hinge, the plastic shower flooring was super slippery. Even the mattresses looked super flat and cheap. Management staff. They seemed very nice and helpful as the internet was not working and she tried to get me to troubleshoot but, i feel my vacation time is not for that. Im a single person who rents vacation homes and i try to get nicer ones as i travel alot and like to enjoy and appreciate my surroundings/ environment. Sadly, in the end, it gave me a feeling of being misled. It is updated but not modern and a quick fix and flip with out consideration for any luxury. No bath mats, just a space couch beds.
