With its 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and spacious screened in deck, you will get the best of both worlds: a cozy & comfortable home with all necessary amenities, all the while reveling in the tranquility of the Massanutten woods. No matter which bedroom you end up with, you will get to wake up every morning to quiet forest views. Wind down with a game of Monopoly around the massive table on the screened porch or allow yourself to quietly binge that new Netflix show everyone at work has been raving about. Whether you enjoy your alone time or revel in a weekend of heavy socializing, you will be able to have that much needed quiet time while a competitive game of charades is being played on the deck. Even the mosquitoes will not bring you down: the deck is screened in, which means that you will not have to smell like bug spray while sipping on your frozen margaritas & dancing the night away to ABBA.

You and your crew will be able to enjoy the seclusion of a mountain getaway whilst being able to enjoy what Massanutten Resort has in store. From its top-rated Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark to its Family Adventure Park; its two golf courses and numerous hiking trails; with its several dining hubs, you will be able to unwind over food and drinks without leaving the resort after a fun-filled day. In the unlikely chance that you have exhausted what the resort has to offer, there is a lot to experience in the Shenandoah Valley and its surroundings!
Please note that the passes provide access to the following Recreational Centers at no additional cost:
Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club includes a fitness room, indoor pool, game room, hot tub, co-ed steam and sauna rooms.
Woodstone Recreation includes a game room, indoor basketball court, racquetball courts, indoor & outdoor (seasonal) pool, and tanning bed.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The house was clean, tons of space, and offered so much fun with rec.center passes. We'd love to stay here again!

Winter Getaway

This property was perfect. Location was convenient. House was spacious and clean. Took 4 teenagers, my son and my husband. Everyone had a great time. Will rent again.

Nice Home with Great Screened in Porch

We really enjoyed the screened in porch with gas fire pit. The home was very nice and had good amenities, WiFi and plenty of TVs, gas and electric fireplaces. The gas fireplace in the living room was not working for our visit and the floor one of the bathrooms was warped buckling. Although these were not fixed during our brief stay, the property management company was very responsive to our calls regarding various minor items.

Fall Break

The property was easy to find and accurately described in the listing. We had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the shuffleboard. There were a few items we felt should have been provided, but when we inquired, the property manager was quick to respond and get them to us later that day, which we appreciated. The two biggest concerns that couldn’t be quickly addressed, so we did not raise them, were the lack of mattress pad for the king bed, which made the sheets slide around, and the significant drops in the driveway from the street. The latter is a real problem for a low to the ground car, as even our SUV scraped repeatedly with very slow and careful movements. Some sand and gravel would offer a significant improvement, and full paving might be a long term solution. Of course, many of the driveways in this community are challenging, so while this was somewhat expected, it could still be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the clear and helpful information and action from the manager.

A good getaway

We were in town for a wedding and hotels are expensive so this was a good option for the number of us that we had. The basement was really cool and so was the screened deck with a fire pit. We spent most of our time between those two areas

Fall Family Getaway

We rented this house to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday with immediate family. It was a great location and beautiful quiet neighborhood. Check in was easy and the house was ready at 4:00 pm. It was clean and as described in the listing. We had six people, so there was plenty of space to spread out and have some space, but also great family space. The basement was great for family movies and shuffleboard. The screened in deck was amazing and we gathered around the gas fire pit nightly. We saw deer in the yard daily, so that was really fun! We truly enjoyed everything about this house. Great visit and great memories made during our visit. There were a few things that could easily be improved, but did not hinder our visit. We are big cooks, so they could use some new pots, pans and some knives in the kitchen. The towels are a bit skimpy and none in the kitchen, so this would be nice to have a bit plusher towel. There are a few channels available on the tv, but bring your log ins if you want to watch football or other things. TV's in every room, so if people branch off, this is a nice feature. The house is located in the middle of the Massanutten resort with amenities and activities in every direction. An absolutely beautiful area with something for everyone. We will definitely be back.

Great Potential

Though the photos and description are accurate, we found several things to be poorly maintained at the property. We had several things go wrong including no hot water, the gas fireplace not working, the fire detectors chirping and the driveway has a deep dip that is rough a car tires. Trip Forth, the management company was excellent to work with with frequent communication via text to keep me posted on pending repairs. They actively tried to repair and rectify the situations quickly. Unfortunately it ended up feeling like a work weekend rather than a getaway. For this price point, the owner should be making sure things are in good repair.

Mostly Loved

We loved the house, especially the layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen and screened in porch were nice too. But more of the basics would have given it a better feel - toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels and hangers in the closets. We had a bigger shopping list than expected. Those items would have made it excellent.

Fire pit didn’t work

Property was well kept. A little frustrated that the fire pit didn’t work. The propane tank was empty and lighter was in op. Also a bit frustrating that you have a cleaning fee and then require occupant to trek up the mountain 5 miles to take trash out. Start laundry and dishwasher and strip beds.

This is a lovely home the host is extremely helpful any questions I had I got immediate response with great hospitality it was really nice. My family really enjoyed our stay. Quiet community close to all Massanutten attraction especially the water park over all it was great definitely would book again.

Family vacation

We had four adults and four children stay for 3 nights. The property was spacious and loud, all of us to have our own area. Very clean. Communication was spot on when I thought we had a problem, which turned out to be nothing! Definitely recommend.
