Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains and close to everything! Unique wood details in main living space, wood burning fireplace, hot tub and pool table make this a perfect house for you and your family and friends.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are coming during snow season, we recommend driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Crest Road can be difficult to manage, even if the City of South Lake Tahoe has plowed it, it can still be icy.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are coming during summer, our home does not have AC. Because of the relatively mild summers, most homes in South Lake Tahoe do not have AC. We have fans available for each room if the daytime is warm. The nights here are cool so the house cools back down over night.

Ski trip

The place was fantastic for our group. The close proximity to the lifts, pool table, hot tub were exactly what we were looking for. Home well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Cabin in South Lake Tahoe

The cabin itself is so nice, you might find yourself spending most of your time there. Even if that isn’t your vacation style, all the fun stuff in Tahoe is only a 7 minute drive away. Super close to the action and the cabin is amazing.

Great location

Perfect house for our family getaway. Great gathering and separate spaces. Quiet and peaceful up in the trees. Close to everything when you need to drop down the hill.

The property is as advertised. The view and location are even better. The owner is very responsive and extremely helpful. We’ve stayed at many rentals and this is the best by far!

Heavenly Treehouse is better than advertised! Location is close to town, house is spacious and clean, the cabin//cottage vibe is amazing! Kitchen is fully stocked, and the views of the lake/mountains are breathtaking! Janine was responsive and super sweet!

Great Place

The place was even nicer than the pictures! The check in process was online and easy. We had some minor issues (like all places do) but the owner made sure they were addressed immediately. The views were very impressive and we enjoyed them daily. The drive to the Heavenly lot was 2 minutes, so we went from the house to the lift in no time at all. We will try to stay there again our next visit.

Families Ski Vacation

We had a great family ski vacation. The house was perfect for our family with 3 suites for our adult children and bunk beds for the kids. 3-5 minutes away from Heavenly CA main lodge. We enjoyed the hot tub and had fires every evening after a day of skiing. The house was filled with amenities in kitchen for cooking and games for fun for all ages. Definitely a great place to stay.

Amazing in every way and worth every penny!

What was better; the view or the place? It's hard to say. Looking out to the lake in the mornings with a cup of coffee, grilling during sunset, and enjoying the trees was up there on the list. The house though, it just really felt comfortable and cozy. Beautiful bedrooms, excellently stocked, and a hot tub to enjoy; it was really perfect.

Good Memories!

The house has a rustic feel. View is beautiful ! We had plenty of room for our big group. Loved the location, not too close to other homes. Close to town and some parts of lake. It did get pretty warm in the house a couple of evenings. Communication was great when needed! Thankful we all got to stay together in one place! Great memories were made!

Huge thank you to owner/managers of property. My family and friends spend a lot of time in Tahoe. Of all the VRBO’s I have rented, this was hands down the best house. We all truly appreciated how well stocked and set up for entertaining this house was. Fingers crossed, we can rent this home again next year. Could use a cooling device upstairs

Great location and beautiful property

Only a couple issues, TV in master bedroom and trash compactor didn’t work. Was a little disappointed that we couldn’t have the rest of our family over for dinner due to the max occupancy rule, was not aware of that before check in. Otherwise it is a fantastic place with great views! Thank you 😊

Secluded home with beautiful views from every room!

Check in was easy and it was easy to find! Be careful in winter. The home is on secluded roads and hills and was icy! 4X4 is a MUST in winter! The views from every back part of the house are beautiful! The lake can be seen between the trees! Stunning! Only about a 4 minute drive to heavenly Lake Tahoe village, but too far to walk. And only about a 4 minute drive up the hill to Ski Run Blvd Heavenly California Lodge entrance! Great stay, clean and we would recommended! Fit my family perfectly and rooms were large! Hot tub was a great plus too!

Great view

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The bbq was old and dripped oil onto the patio. The hot tub was a bit run down and honestly not very appealing. The cover was taped up. Too far away from the house. It would have been nicer on the patio. We were unable to use more than half of the patio which we were notified only a few days before our departure and we were refunded $240, but we thought we should have been refunded more. The patio area was too small for 7 of us.

Owner was very accommodating

We had to cancel our original booking due to unforeseen circumstances and it was past the cancellation window. However owner was very accommodating and helped us book for a future date. Finally 6 month later we were able to enjoy this cabin. The cabin sits on top of a steep hill so you'll see amazing views of the lake. I've stayed in quite a few cabins but this one by far had one of the best views! Cabin had a fully stocked kitchen, comfy couches, lots of seating so very spacious for 2 families. For the kids, there is a cabinet full of games, billiards & a hot tub. Our teenage kids had tons of fun without needing electronics! The only thing is we didn't get an email from the property management company (as we do with other rentals days before check in). We did get a text the morning of the check in. Office people were very nice as well. Check out time is 10am so it's a bit early for late sleepers and since keys have to be returned to the office it is not as convenient as a lock box. Overall great experience and I am super grateful to the owner who went out of her way.

Stayed in March, and would come back in the summer in a heartbeat!

Fabulous and spacious house for 2 families! 4 adults, 5 teenagers. Well equipped home for our spring break ski vacation. The pool table room plus bunk bed room was the perfect wing for the 4 teenage boys in our group. The house layout was wonderful. No one felt cramped. Outdoor jacuzzi was used a few times and was ready to enjoy. View of the lake on clear days was fabulous, especially after our boys cleared out the record high piles of snow. Bc of the extreme weather conditions, it was a bit treacherous getting up the hill to the house our first time. We slid down our first attempt. A tad scary for us Floridians. But we quickly realized how to manage it. We should have not waited until night time when the roads were slippery. Home owner very quick to help us plan our arrival and gave great suggestions. We arrived in to Sacramento airport. 2.5 hour drive to the house. The snow storms prob added the last 30 minutes to the drive. Grocery stores quick drivable distance from the house, same as ski rental and heavenly ski lifts. Had a fabulous dinner at one of the casinos at Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. Got lucky and got a reservation the same night. Hope to return to this home/area one summer! Gorgeous lake views!

The views, the sunsets and the location were amazing. The house was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The house was close to Tahoe activities as well as restaurants. We enjoyed the views all day long and the sunsets and evening sky was amazing. Host was responsive and easy to reach. We would definitely stay again.

Great venue for our thanksgiving gathering

Beautiful clean house with a great view of the lake, nice cabin decor and lovely ambiance throughout. Furnishings were awesome. Lots of dishes was helpful for our large family. Loved the board games and books too. Large tv & lots of wood for the fireplace was very nice. House was well maintained and someone came to fix the garbage disposal on a holiday quickly. Overall loved the place and would return. We had a great fun family vacation.

I grew up in the Bay Area, coming to Tahoe every winter and summer with family and friends. When we moved out of state, we knew we wanted a great house in the Lake Tahoe area to invite friends and family to spend time with us, to continue the tradition.

We looked for years to find the right house in South Lake Tahoe and when we found this one, we knew it was perfect for our family and friends. The lake views, the unique interior, the big backyard, and proximity to everything makes it the place we look forward to coming to every year.
