This cozy apartment is perfect for weekend get aways! It is a walkable neighborhood close to everything the city has to offer. It is clean with the cutest furnishings. Adam is so easy to get in touch with and work with! Love this place.

Impeccably clean. Helpful host and you can easily walk to the Strip District. Quick drive or Uber/Lyft to any point of interest in the City and surrounding neighborhoods like Oakland, Shadyside, Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, etc.

We loved this beautiful place! The decor is wonderful, and we appreciated everything from the book selection and rain shower fixture to the lovely and comfortable furniture. We stayed during a heat wave and the AC was great. Looking forward to returning for a fall visit!

We had a great stay! The place was super clean, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. Everything felt really intentional and well put together. The heated bathroom tile was a great touch. The only small thing was the glass entry door, it felt a little exposed at times. Maybe a tint or shade would make it feel a bit more private. It’s also right next to the 31st incline, so there’s some traffic noise, but we brought a speaker and played ocean sounds and with earplugs we slept great. My wife’s only note (and she’ll admit this sounds a little vain) was that a full-length mirror would’ve been nice.

Place is unique, decorated nicely, spacious and clean. Nice outside porch area. located next to busy street so there is morning traffic noise. The bed could be better. The bed is very small considering the size of the unit. Bedding is okay. We stayed for 2 nights. Overall it worked for us.

Perfect weekend stay!

Had back to back business trips to Pittsburgh so decided to stay the weekend and explore the area. The location was perfect and I walked to restaurants and shopping very easily. Bed was comfy and I had everything I needed and really appreciated how convenient the parking was as I had a rental car. This VRBO was so cute and well decorated, would stay here again!

Anniversary get away

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much! Our host shared some great local spots, two of which we walked to and visited! The apartment is clean and updated, the decor is beautiful. Little things that go a long way like soaps and the coffee station made the stay easier and special. It can be a little loud with the location, but luckily we drowned the sound out with a fan and some sounds on the Google speaker. We had a hard time with the lock on the door at check in, but our host helped us out over the phone immediately, very helpful. Thank you for a great getaway!

Thank you for the fantastic stay. The home is cute and it is easy to uber from, but really a 20 minute walk to the interesting area of the Strip District.

Weekend Getaway

A very cool, cozy place to stay! Within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Less than a 10 minute drive to the PPG Paints arena which was great as we were in town for a hockey game. Would happily stay here again!

The home was clean, well maintained, and had an eclectic style that gave it charm. Check-in was mostly smooth, though the initial code we were given didn’t work and had to be corrected. The major drawback is the proximity to the highway and a heavily trafficked road — the noise was constant all night. Cars, trucks, honking, and motorcycles revving their engines could be heard loudly, often at high speed. Combined with thin walls, it made for two of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had. If noise doesn’t bother you, the place itself is lovely, but it’s not ideal for light sleepers. If not for Josie, this would have been a 9/10 stay.

Perfect property!

My husband and I booked this property to stay at during out wedding weekend. It was the perfect set up. My bridesmaids and I used it to get ready in during the day and for photos. My photographer got the BEST shots in this property. The furniture and background was absolutely perfect. The location is great too as it's a quick shot right down from the strip district. Easy check in process and the owner is quick to respond! Highly recommend!!!

Funky, retro and comfortable

My wife and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. The place has a very retro and funky vibe, but has everything that you would need for stay in Pittsburgh. The check-in was easy. Communication with the host was excellent. The place had everything that you would want and then some. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, spacious place

The place overall was lovely with everything we needed. The only things I would suggest is a full length mirror and a curtain in the front door. It’s close to Lawrenceville restaurants and shops, however, the immediate area is old factories and pretty vacant. Noise level is high from the road and bridge but we are accustomed to city sounds. Regardless, we enjoyed the well appointed, roomy space!

Great spot and location

Location was okay, right next to the bridge was very loud. The mattress dips in to the middle so I would recommend a new one soon. I would give people the option to cover the front glass door, gives a level of comfort and security. And maybe more towels depending on the length of stay. But the place was very clean and the heated bathroom floor was very cool!! Thank you!

We choose this property because of it's convenient location between our favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh, Lawrenceville and The Strip District. We spent 5 years renovating the property which formerly housed the infamous 31st Street Pub into a home for our family.

A 5 min walk in either direction brings you to the heart of Pittsburgh's best shopping, dinning, coffee shops, breweries and more. A 10 min walk across the 31st bridge and you are in one of the best parks in Pittsburgh at Washington's Landing. Located on an Island in the middle Allegheny river, enjoy a walk through nature, surrounded by water, with some of the best views of downtown Pittsburgh from Herr’s Island Bridge. Three Rivers Heritage Trail also runs through the island.
