Striking Fairway Views, Luxury, Serenity, Pvt Beach Pass

This Fairways Villa is professionally decorated and has an elevated, unobstructed view of the golf course with spectacular sunsets. The home stands on a perfect angle to the trade winds, allowing you to use the front and back screen doors and windows for a wonderful, cool and natural cross breeze. There is also central air conditioning throughout.

The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a comfortable Cal King bed. It has its own spacious sitting area and a lanai overlooking the golf course. Sink into the luxurious lanai lounge chairs and enjoy a quiet drink away from it all. The second bedroom hosts two twin size beds and has its own en suite. Upon request, the twins can be converted to a King.

A large, beautiful “lagoon” pool is a 2 min walk away, with a shallow area for the children. There is also a hot tub and fitness room onsite.

Your stay will include a Pass Card to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club, a 3 min drive away. It is a sparkling white sand beach enclosed by coral reef and is very safe for children. It is lifeguarded so while the kids are having fun swimming and snorkeling, you may enjoy a cool drink at the restaurant overlooking the beach. It is stunning and picturesque.

Another beach is a 10 minute walk away at Fairmont Orchid hotel. Next to it is a turtle sanctuary - a delight for the children.

We provide four (4) Beach Cruiser Bicycles for your enjoyment at no charge. The Mauna Lani Community offers a bicycle friendly atmosphere. Many destinations throughout the complex can be reached via a pleasant bicycle ride.

If your family enjoys boogie boarding or surfing - head over to Hapuna Beach - a 10 minute drive away. The waves here are perfect for boogie boarding. Boogie boards are included in the rental.

If you like to BBQ - your own private BBQ is located on the lower lanai. Put your feet up in the lounge chairs after dinner and soak in the spectacular sunset views and the gently swaying palm trees

World class tennis facilities and golf are located right in the Mauna Lani Resort and at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel. They have tennis clinics most days at 9 am. Enjoy.

Incredibly relaxing and peaceful

This was the perfect last 4 days to cap off a busy 2 week trip to Oahu and The Big Island. The condo was impeccable - clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-supplied. Beach towels, beach toys, bikes were much appreciated by our kids. Labeled light switches, spices and oils for cooking, and surprisingly sharp knives in the kitchen were very thoughtful. We enjoyed the use of the beach club, pool, fitness center, walks around the fish ponds and petroglyph park!

Comfortable and relaxing

We stayed in this villa with one other couple and it was perfect. Each of the two bedrooms has its own bath. The lanai is the perfect place to relax and read. We enjoyed evening swims in the pool and star gazing in the hot tub. Lots of stuff to see nearby within walking distance. Beach club is also great for lunch, dinner, and/or a drink. We would love to return!

Lovely stay with fantastic host!

The condo was beautiful, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed including a high chair, pack and play and beach toys for the kids. They even had sunblock in the garage and baby soap and shampoo in the baths. 2 minute drive to a Foodland market that had everything we needed to make most of our breakfasts and even a steak and poke dinner one night. Our host, Amma, called us the week before to make sure we had everything we needed and couldn't have been more gracious and generous. Great experience all around.

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER!

If you are looking for a clean, contemporary and spacious place to stay in Kona then your search is over! The Dancing Dolphin Villa is all that and much more. We stayed at the Villa for 5 nights and it wasn't long enough. It is nestled in a beautiful community in the Mauna Lani Resort area, on the fairway, access to the best beach in Kona (snorkeling, paddle boarding and bar!) walking distance to a great market and all the amenities of home...along with other items such as beach towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards. You seriously can't ask for more. We left Kona and went to Kauai and stayed at a Sheraton property in Poipu and we missed the Dancing Dolphin!! Our stay there has spoiled us so much that even a beautiful resort doesn't compare to our experience at the Dolphin. BOOK IT!! You won't be disappointed. :)

17 nights at Dancing Dolphins

Two of us stayed at Elena’s Fairways Villa and thoroughly enjoyed it. Elena was quick to respond to any questions we had before our trip and looked after a few concerns very promptly we had once we arrived. The villa met all our expectations. It is west facing, overlooking the golf course and although the adjacent units were occupied part of the time, it seemed private and quiet. The grounds of the Fairways Villas are nicely landscaped and looked after including the pool area which is a 1 or 2 minute walk away. We enjoyed being a short walk away from the shops and from the Fairmont Orchid. Our favorite afternoon walk was a loop down to the Fairmont Orchid, along their shore to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, past the fish ponds, up the road to the shops and then back to the villa. We always saw turtles along the beach, once counting 13 in front of the Fairmont’s beach bar. It is a few minutes drive to the Beach Club where we swam every morning right after breakfast. This was the sixth place we’ve stayed in Mauna Lani. I would happily return to the Dancing Dolphins and would recommend it.

♡♡ Fantastic Stay ♡♡

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The house is beautiful, it's right on the golf course with incredible views....sunrise and sunset. You can see the mountains in the morning, and the sunset in the evening. The gated community is very private and completely safe. The house was well stocked with everything we needed: toiletries, cooking utensils, towels, and beach equipment. Elena (owner) always responded quickly to questions via email...great communication. She offered alternative rental options to us, and we took advantage of the better rate. The entire community (Mauna Lani) has several resorts within it. To accommodate everyone, there are several centrally located restaurants (outside the gated community) as well as a great grocery store. Be prepared to pay premium prices at both the restaurants and grocery store. Be sure to visit the petroglyph park and beaches on site. The best sunset onsite was at 49's Black Beach. It was a rough 10 minute hike, but worth the sunset view. Must visit beaches are Hapuna Beach State Park, Waialea Bay (rocky), and Maniniowali Beach (my fave). Fun local shopping, restaurants, and farmers markets are in downtown Kona, as well as a Target and Costco. Hilo is more "hometown" like and Highway 19 is the most picturesque drive you might ever take to get there. Additional outdoor shopping/restaurants were close by at the Kings & Queens shopping centers, where they also have a Macy's and a food court. We visited local farmers markets in the Up-country and enjoyed malasada and loco mocos. We enjoyed talking to locals, learning their culture and the history of the island. Great unit in a great complex!

Very clean, well appointed, beautiful views. Definitely kept modernized compared to many other units in complex. Dave was a great manager, reaches out with tips of local fun activities and very attentive to any needs of guest! Can’t wait to stay again very soon!

Family Spring Break Trip

This home worked perfectly for our family spring break. We chose it as a cheaper option than the surrounding hotels for our family of 4. Was nice to have large space, fully equipped kitchen, with grocery store a couple blocks away. We could walk to hotel beaches or drive to Hapuna Beach in 10 minutes. Only 30 min from airport also. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent townhouse

The townhouse is perfect and the location can’t be beat. Morning coffee to the tune of the mowers on the fairway and the birds… not to mention the wind in the palm trees. Property manager was great. Beds are comfy.

Impressive

The condo is beautiful and in a great location. The place was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very comfortable. The lanais were spacious and I enjoyed listening to the birds while dining outdoors. The pool area is large and was never crowded. Contact and communication with the property manager was excellent. I will be returning in the spring & hope this property is available. I highly recommend this condo!

Just about perfect!

I've been travelling to Hawaii for over 30 years, always on the lookout for that perfect spot to stay, and now I've found it. The Puako adjacent location has perhaps the best weather in the state, being warm and dry more than almost anywhere else, and gets very little of the wind and rain that affect many other spots. The development is close to Foodland (5 minutes by bike), and also to the Beach Club, which is a great snorkel spot with a protected reef. The Club also offers lounge chairs, so you don't have to lug beach chairs, or sit in the sand. The unit is roomy and comfortable, with higher quality towels, linens and bedding than one typically finds in a rental condo. We were especially impressed with the well stocked kitchen - every bit of hardware you'd want, and more than usually well stocked for supplies. Often one gets the feeling that the cleaning crew empties out every last usable item the last guests left behind, and so finding a little olive oil, salt, pepper, condiments, plenty of coffee filters etc just made for a much more pleasant visit. There are even large baskets filled with games and a cornhole game in the garage should you want to be competitive. We enjoyed the smart TV options (bring your passwords to log into nextflix, disney, etc) and cable. Wifi is fast! Another huge plus for us was the fact that the front door has a screen, so you can get that lovely cross breeze in the mornings and evenings. In fact, between the ceiling fans, and the great ventilation, we didn't need to turn on the AC at all! The garage is well supplied with beach chairs, snorkel gear, 4 cruiser bikes with locks and helmets (and a pump and a few simple tools - thank you!), even extra bug spray and sunscreen should you need it. The owners and manager were always reachable, easy to interact with, and timely and clear with their communication - exactly what you'd hope for. The complex is small and quiet and my wife enjoyed riding around and around the complex. My kid and I worked out every day in the small yet well equipped work out room located by the pool/mailbox area. The pool is large (maximum depth of 4') and the hottub warm with strong jets. There is even a warm waterfall next to the hot tub! There seems to be a large common area next to the pool for larger gatherings but we did not utilize. We are not lanai people (gasp!) but this time we ate meals from the lower lanai overlooking the beautiful golf course (oddly- the golfers were quiet!)

Condo complex has an awesome pool, access to an great private beach, and right on a golf course! Condo was well equipped with everything you need to cook and bake. The bicycles provided were an extra bonus. We will be back. Thanks so much.

Great property and location for family friendly getaway. The property was exactly as shown in pictures and properly equipped for all of our family needs. Being on the golf course also worked out well to watch the Honu 70.3 triathlon! Will definitely try to stay here again in the future!
