Paying for Location - some misleading info in listing
The location was awesome. For this reason alone I would rent here again. The cottage is right on the beach and within walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, ice cream etc. and a short drive to other touristy locations.
Communication of property manager was excellent.
The cottage itself is super cute but is NOT well cared for...furniture was dirty/stained, the screen door was broken, and the sliding door was extremely hard to open and close, the A/C was a wall unit on the first floor only and the filter was filthy, the outdoor shower was simply a long hose on the side of the house (there is a showerhead but water barely trickled out), additionally, there was very little pressure in the indoor shower (a huge selling point made in the listing), and the parking spots available to guests were located quite a ways down the street - defintely not convenient for moving in/out, driving anywhere, or quick errand for groceries etc.
When we booked there were no reviews so we knew we were taking a chance. I am hoping the owners will us the revenue earned this past summer to do some upgrades on the property.
All said and done - we had a great week...just started out with some significant disappointments.
