Cozy Family Sized Home, Nestled on the Creek

Welcome to our Creekside retreat on nearly 2 acres with stunning water views and vineyard; tucked away along the Condoguinet Creek. Features huge deck off the main floor with 2 balconies. Each bedroom with access and water views. Also includes Pool table, home movie theater, 2 workspaces, 2 full bath/2 half baths, Family bedroom including kids’ space, Indoor seating/outdoor seating/closets galore.

Main Floor features an upgraded kitchen with plenty of natural light and open space for entertaining. A-frame Great Room made from reclaimed wood bringing a piece of local history back to life. Unwind with a good book or a show/movie on the 65” Roku Smart TV. Master Bedroom with access to deck and a bathroom equipped with shower heater. Main floor also features a table to fit 10 comfortably as well as a high-top table for 8 as well as a powder room.

Upstairs features a workspace, full bathroom which includes a tub for the kids. Walk into the "family bedroom" with bunkbed, Queen bed, and mini playroom. Adjacent is an additional bedroom which includes a King bed and powder room attached; both rooms with access to a "Romeo and Juliet" Balcony.
Make your way to the basement furnished with a Regulation sized Olhausen Pool table and home movie theater.

Additional Loft bedroom at the top of the Aframe with Workspace, Queen bed and Daybed.
Make your way outdoors and enjoy the spacious deck with a large seating area and use of Grill.
Below the deck is table seating area for 12 as well as swing chairs for relaxation.
Grounds beautifully maintained and featuring sprawling gardens. Open area great for any sports/activities. Additional deck and bench on the creek; perfect for fishing and/or enjoying the tranquil water sunset/sunrise views. Access to the creek as well as a canoe on the property. Bikes for the younger kiddos available for use. Kids can also enjoy their own playhouse with pulley system for access to any snacks/supplies while playing.

Beautiful location. The host was very attentive to issues. The home should be listed as 3 bedrooms and a small loft. We were 12 guests and found sleeping accommodations tight.

This was a great space to stay with our family. The outdoor space is set up well for a picnic, though rain kept us from using it as much as we would have. Having 2 arborists in the family, the variety of trees on the property was a special treat.

The property had several lights out. There weren’t enough utensils for our large family. Was a little concerned there were no smoke alarms or fire extinguisher that we could see.

Hello Pauline, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your candor. Please let me know which lights were out. I found one bathroom light bulb out. Multiple bulbs on first floor that were unscrewed and worked when screwed back in. I went to investigate and found four fire extinguishers; one under kitchen sink, one in pantry kitchen, one in laundry room and one on second floor in bathroom closet. There are 12 fire/smoke and co2 detectors in home visible to visitors and 6 more behind locked doors. As far as the utensils we do apologize and suggest you reach out in the future as theft happens and we had several hundred extra in the basement. We also suggest that if you rent from anyone in the future you do your due diligence, especially with concerns of safety, and reach out to the owner immediately as safety is our, and should be your number 1 priority during your trip. This rental was exactly what we needed for our family Thanksgiving when people come from different directions. Wonderful amenities and beautiful location...close to Hershey Park & lots of shopping. Would've greatly enjoyed the deck overlooking the river had it been a little warmer.

The location is absolutely perfect. It was a bit of a squeeze as far as sleeping for our group of 14! But we made it work with an extra blow up mattress. The loft was a bit smaller than expected, as there were no pictures. But otherwise the deck, the great room and dining room offer plenty of space for lounging and hanging out. We brought our own paddleboards and were able to be out on the creek almost every day. The creek was shallow, as advertised for the summer, but it was actually perfect for the toddlers in our group who could still stand in all the areas. The yard is more than enough space. The house is really close to shopping for convenience, but the property still feels very serene and secluded. Excellent stay for summertime and to be outdoors with family.

My family and I stay here for a weekend to visit family. It is very spacious and clean. The owner responded quickly to any messages sent. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend.
