Our pipes are “historic” -scrap all food into trash, not down the kitchen sink. Small amounts of toilet paper. NO hygiene products or flushable wipes.
Quiet time/noise: We are located in a residential community. Between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.
Please be respectful of downstairs guests, our historic wood floors can amplify the sound of footsteps. NO HIGH HEELS- they leave dents

Comfortable and great location.

Loved staying here with my tennis team for a tournament at McFarlin tennis center. Close to amazing restaurants and especially the tournament. Beds were comfortable, house had everything we needed and didn’t pack. Very clean!!

Breezy, light-filled perch a short walk from the Pearl & Riverwalk

Love historic homes, cool funky neighborhoods, lounging on porches with a good book, sleeping with the cool breeze of a ceiling fan? Then this house is for you. There is no more charming spot to explore all San Antonio has to offer. Incredibly clean and orderly, lovingly decorated, terrific amenities. Our host was very responsive to our needs, such as tightening the squeaky metal bedframe while we were out. The covered porches front and back really added to the quality of our visit. We absolutely loved it and will return. One of my favorite VRBO properties ever.

Not as advertised

This property is located on a quiet street. It has a lovely covered porch in front and a large deck in back for dining and relaxing. The living room is lovely and there is a large kitchen. Description of the bedrooms on the VRBO site indicated 3 bedrooms and sleeping 6. However, this is incorrect. There were two very nice bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen. The “third bedroom” consisted of a twin bed located in a laundry room. There was no closet or rolling clothes rack to hang clothes. There were no drawers to unpack clothes. There was no bedside table with lamp, just an overhead light. The worst part of this room was the door to the hallway that had a large window in it. Light from the security light, which could not be turned off, shone through the window so the room was never dark for sleeping. I slept in this room and it was miserable. This property would be wonderful for 2 couples or 2 people who wanted individual rooms. It should be listed as a 2 bedroom property that sleeps 4.

Our home is in one of the closest residential neighborhoods to downtown San Antonio as well as the St Mary's Strip-a veritable destination of its own - several blocks of local restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars with nightlife and good eats. In the daytime the same area is fun for antique shops, unique boutiques and coffee shops. This property sits in the heart of San Antonio’s registered historic district of Tobin Hill- one of the oldest urban neighborhoods within the City of San Antonio.
