Take your next Lake Tahoe vacation to this lakefront home on the west shore. Enjoy the large Grandview home in Homewood with buoy and pier access. Located close to Homewood Ski resort, trails for hiking/biking and the bike path to Tahoe City. Enjoy the use of the buoy and pier, as well as the beautifully manicured lawn and lakefront area of the home.

The main floor's living area is open and has an updated kitchen. In addition to the gorgeous fireplace to warm up beside, you have beautiful furnishings and decorations throughout. The south facing deck will be a pure joy with a morning cup of coffee or good book. There is enough seating at the dining table to accommodate 8 people for family style meals.

The main floor features a primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom, as well as views of the lake. The lower floor features a second primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and two other bedrooms and bathroom and access to lake and hot tub.

Parking:

Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 9 adults.
* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furiture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Great communication with the hosts all the way through. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning! I was there with my brother, his wife and her sister. We all had a nice room to ourselves with king-size beds and our own bathroom. It was so comfortable! We really loved staying at this house! I will definitely be back! It would especially be wonderful in the summertime when we could utilize the outdoor areas and the lake itself. We were there when there was a winter storm coming through. Still, to be able to sit from any room in the house and look at the beautiful lake was wonderful!

A comfortable, lovely home and yard.We love being on the water in this certainly delivered.We would definitely return!One bedroom on main level. Stairs to yard so anyone with mobility issues would find this a negative BUT a wonderful deck off the living area which could be enjoyed by everyone. Carol & Norm

House was wonderful! Property was well maintained and gorgeous! We enjoyed swimming and using the hot tub!!! Bears are definitely around but fun to see! We will come back for sure!!!

Great spot!

What a great place! We had a wonderful time exploring the lake and all its surrounding towns. The accommodations were exactly as we expected, views were spectacular, and we even got a cameo appearance from the Beaver that lives down the shore. Thanks again!

Great view.

Prefect for what we wanted. Time to simply stay in our PJs and relax with good food. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils & dishes. Spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the sun. A Safeways is only about 15 minutes away if you need anything. Pretty much prefect.. ps. Great water pressure for hot showers! Will return.

Location

The location of this comfortable home is really hard to beat. The view of the lake is breath-taking. It's superbly located, and if you want to swim it's easy to access from the front of the house or the adjacent pier. Clean, comfortable, good heating [there in early April] and great living area to hang in. Hot tub a plus.Two disappointments which if you knew ahead of time you could plan for. One is the lack of routine amenities that you have in a hotel or in better rentals [shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairdryer - we did find one box of kleenex]. The other is the very basic kitchen. This is not a rental you want to be cooking meals in, which is not super unusual, but the absence of a kettle was unusual. Mixed reviews of rental agency responsiveness to questions.

Great view, but little luxury

The main floor is great: the picture window view of the lake is fantastic! The place is cozy, lived-in. But the place needs some TLC that the manager doesn’t offer to the house or guests. From a toilet leaking on the floor our first day that they presumed “didn’t need to be fixed because there are others,” the sheet of ice leading to the hot tub from all bedrooms (only access in winter), to the absurd check in and check out policy (same day calls required to check in before 4pm or after 10am), the management company is primed to extract every penny from you. If you don’t value money or get lucky with zero issues, this place would be great. If you’re a human with a sense of fairness, I suggest looking for another house and a different management company for a true vacation from worries.

Lovely Cabin with a Gorgeous View

Spent a girls weekend at this amazing cabin! Snow and rain kept inside most of the weekend but the view out the windows was stunning and the fire inside made it cozy. The hosts were so communicative, kind and helpful! We had an amazing experience and are looking forward to the next time we can come visit!

Beautiful lake front home

We stayed here with family friends for winter skiing. Location of the home was fabulous, easy to get everywhere and loved the lake front. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing! Loved the layout of the hike with private bathrooms and king size beds for 3 of the bedrooms. Overall I would definitely recommend this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was wonderful. The view there is stunning, the house is excellently constructed, and for a rental property, the furnishings were superb.On the downside, the heating controls did not seem to work super well. We had to open doors/windows even after turning the heat to the lowest setting to make it bearable the first evening at the property.Another issue was with the televisions. The one in the master bedroom needs to be hung on a wall, as it is non-viewable otherwise. For the tv in the living room, there were four controllers we found and it was next to impossible to figure out what controlled what, and what services/channels were available based on the information in the property's guidebook. I appreciated the kindness and superior service the women we spoke with at check-in provided. Our flight arrived into Reno early, so we arrived to the property at 3pm, and she allowed us to check-in early. The individual from the property service who called us on our second to last day was not so personable. We accidently had left a light on outside and they said they had a neighbor complain, and she was very sharp in her tone about making sure to not let it happen again even after I apologized.I would definitely recommend the property to others. If driving from the Reno airport, plan an hour travel time, and be sure to stop at one of the Safeway stores on the way to stock up on food for your stay.

Yearly Family getaway

Loved the location outdoor area has beautiful lake view. House needs a good deep cleaning. Broken glass under the trash compactor. Carpet was damp outside downstair bedroom at the end of the hallway. Downstairs is very dark and smells musty. Bring your own paper towels less than half roll was provided for our 4 day stay. Bring your own hand soap the hand soap in bathrooms had been diluted were 80 percent water. Was asked to run a load of laundry but there was no laundry soap. Some of the king pillows had standard size pillow cases that didn’t cover the entire pillow. The hot tub was serviced which is a good thing however opening the door to find two men on the deck was a little startling may be a good idea to have them ring the door bell to let you know they are there. All in all the trip which we do every year in October was relaxing. Dinner at Sunnyside our last night was amazing.

Wonderful location

This is the second year I have stayed for a week. It is a beautiful place, and everyone enjoys it! We love everything about the house, especially the dock, which, for a boating family, makes life so much easier for easy unloading and picking up. Thank you for the great memories!

Incredible view!!

A really outstanding location. On the plus side, it had terrific amenities, including a small area to swim, hot tub, outdoor sitting area balconies, and even a dock! Great property. I would suggest however, that you lower your expectations a bit in that the property is older and some areas look a little tired. The cleaning was not perfect, but OK. There is quite a bit of traffic noise in the morning and evening during high traffic flow, but not noticeable inside the house. But all in all an incredible location and view. We would definitely rebook

Beautiful Hone Away From Home

We’ve been coming to Lake Tahoe every year during September but this was our first time in a lakefront home and it did not disappoint. The home is as pictured and has all of the amenities to make you feel at home. It was very clean and well kept. Being right on the water is a huge benefit, slip your paddle board or kayak right into the lake for a sunrise paddle or sit in one of the beautiful chaise lounge chairs and sip your morning coffee. Walkable to hiking trails and a local market/deli was a plus, too. It is right on Lake Blvd, and although the road noise did not bother us, it felt a little unsafe to cross the road to the walking path. Overall a 5/5 and we intend to come back.
