We love this home for so many reasons:
- Lake front home with private dock that is not shared with a homeowner's association
- Private buoy makes it easy to bring and use your power boat
- deep water at dock (pier) is relatively hazard free and easy to navigate to for power boats, especially at low lake levels.
- Uncrowded section of Lake Tahoe compared with Tahoe city and South Shore
- Many living spaces in the home for a relaxed, comfortable stay for small and large families
- Roomy, spacious decks and pier
- Sparklingly clear waters with beautiful sand/rock lake bottom (property shoreline is bouldered with no sand)
- Swimming off the dock
- Off-shore summer prevailing winds provide excellent water skiing and wake boarding
- Family can watch skiers and wake boarders from the main deck
- Lots of day excursions available year round
- 20 minutes walk to Meeks Bay Beach
- Boat to Meeks Bay, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Bliss State Park, Emerald Bay Vikingsholm and Tea House, Pope beach, Baldwin beach
- Dining recommendations: Sunnyside Resort, Fire Sign Cafe, Swiss Lakewood, Jake's on the Lake
- Snow skiers: Homewood Mountain Resort 6 miles (closed for 2024/2024 season); Palisades 19 miles. Sledding nearby across the highway.
- Cross Country skiers: Meeks Creek 1.5 mi, General Creek 2.5 mi, Sugar Pine Point / Ehrman Mansion 2.5 mi, Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area 15.5 mi
