Lovely stay

We only stayed two nights in the property and spent very little time there since we were attending a celebration nearby. The location was great, the unit was spacious and comfortable and very very clean. The beds were terrific. We did not take advantage of the pool or the lovely ground outside, but it looks like a very relaxing place to stay and spend some time. We also did not take advantage of the breakfast Buffet, but that looked very nice as well. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel appears to be severely understaffed. Calls often went unanswered because one staff member seemed to be handling everything. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful and did their best, but management needs to address the larger issues. The room description was inaccurate. We booked a room advertised with one king bed and two queen beds, but received one king and only one queen. Staff mentioned there is no room available with this configuration and description on external sites is inaccurate. The sofa and chairs were extremely dirty and unusable, kitchen utensils were very limited, some bowls were broken, and the pool was closed in august due to "renovations?" The gym was also poorly maintained. The dumbbell selection was very limited, several matching pairs were missing, and some of the weights were rusty. On a positive note, breakfast had plenty of options, and the food was good quality. What was most disappointing is that management has acknowledged many of these same problems in previous reviews and promised improvements, yet the issues remain. The staff are trying, but this property needs serious attention from management.
