Beautiful home with lots of space to entertain family & friends

This home was absolutely beautiful. There was 4 families that came together and 3 of the families first time at White Lake and will definitely be back. Home was right on the water and the pier was perfect to go fishing off of. Loved the outside sea

This is the 2nd year my family has stayed at the mansion. It is a great fit for my family of 11, and could honestly hold more if needed. There are very few rentals at White Lake for a family that large to stay together in one house, and even less that have 3 bathrooms, so that is a plus. The kitchen is big and spacious with all the kitchen utensils, pots, pans, silver wear, glasses, mugs, strainers etc. that you could need. We love the big table for 12 in the HUGE dining room for all of us to sit and have meals together. As well as the small 6 top table in the kitchen for breakfast and lunch when we tend to eat in shifts. There is also a long island to line up food like burger fixings and sides, or tacos, or any meal really. Ample seating and table on the back porch, and private pier are nice. The owners are super nice and super quick to answer any questions. A few Improvements I would love to see.1. Dressers in the rooms as we like to unpack our clothes. There is a wire shelf in some rooms you can hang and put things. 2. Some of the dining room chairs are kind of wobbly, and the backs are coming loose. 3. Maybe a keypad entrance instead of key, as we only got 1 key and sometimes the family split up and didn't know who would get back first. There are also some glass double doors inside, 3 sets that I can think of that are super hard to lock. 2 sets we never could get to lock and so we had to tie rope around the handles to secure.Overall a great place for a large group.

Wedding stay

This is a wonderful property. We had several family members and friends staying with us for our daughters wedding. This is an absolutely gorgeous property and the check in and check out process was the easiest we've ever had. If you are looking for a large place, this one's for you!!! We hope to definitely be back.

The house was spacious and provided plenty of room for our group. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, as well as the great location. However, there were a couple drawbacks — the beds were uncomfortable and the listing never mentioned other people being present in the house (only states 2nd floor and garage are not included in rental). The upstairs guests were quite noisy during the late-night hours (around 1–3 a.m.), making it difficult to rest for many in our group of 16.

McMillan

Everything was amazing. Only thing I would suggest is having garbage cans at the house as a convenience to the guest and extra towel racks in the bathrooms for towels and bathing suits to be hung on.

This rental was great for my large family including my parents, my husband, 3 boys and myself as well as my 2 brothers and their wives. Loved the big open kitchen and table to gather for small meals and snacks, and huge dining table we could all fit at for Big Meals. Lots of kitchen pots, pans and utensils, cups to use. Only request would be to add a dresser or chest of drawers to all bedrooms or at least rooms without a lot of space to sit things, and a mirror in bedrooms for ladies to get ready, so they don't have to hold up bathrooms. No closets, but there were shelves in most bedrooms with a place to hang things. Would also note at least 1 bedroom did not have a vent or ceiling fan so it was a bit warm in that room. Loved having a private pier right out the back door. Overall great house for big family.
