Welcome to comfort and relaxation! Exquisite rural setting in the river valley of the St Croix. Cozy up in this brand new barn apartment on our home property that is close to beautiful parks and trails and many attractions and also a half hour from the Twin Cities.
The space:
Designed with modern and well equipped spaces in mind, the entire second floor of the barn space is for our guests use including a full laundry room and fully equipped kitchen.
The Loft at Strawberry Hill provides its guests fresh towels, linens, and many other necessities such as dish soap, dishwasher/laundry tabs, shampoo etc.

Other things to note:
Balconies on both ends to enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Many trails for walking. Afton Alps resort and Afton State Park close by. Private fire pit on premises for our guests outdoor use. Great restaurants in quaint downtown Hudson 8 min. away and historic Stillwater only15 min. away.

We can sleep 6 comfortably or more depending on if the queen beds are shared. For sleeping accommodations we have the main "owners" bedroom with a queen bed, the secondary bedroom has 2 twin beds. In the living room, the sofa has a pull-out queen mattress made of quality memory foam and bedding. In addition to or if preferred, we also have a Queen size double high air mattress with built in pump and also a twin double high mattress with built in pump and all bedding. (Extra charge of $15 per night for more than 4 guests.)

Another wonderful stay at the Strawberry Hill Farm! This place is a little slice of heaven. The loft has everything you’d ever need and more. Abby and Jake have thought of everything. They are incredibly responsive and really go above and beyond for their guests. The loft itself is inviting, comfortable, and VERY clean. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait for my next stay!

Jake and Abby have created an amazing, beautful, and cozy place to stay that is perfect for a family vacation, a couple's getaway, or a girl's weekend like we had. A Christmas gift from my husband and two daughters for a weekend away with my mom and sisters had us searching for a fun place to stay that was out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to activities to enjoy (Shopping in Hudson and Stillwater, enjoying the river and parks, etc). Once we happened upon their listing, we didn't look any further and it did not disappoint! Plenty of space for the four of us to relax and spend quality time together, with all the comforts of home to cook, watch movies, and spaces to work on a puzzle when we came back "home" to relax! Looking out over their beautiful property and watching the horses run and play was the icing on the cake. Jake and Abby-thank you for being great hosts and for being so quick to communicate and make sure we had everything we needed. You have made a perfect home away from home for anyone who books with you.10/10 would recommend booking this property for your next adventure-you will not regret it!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The loft was immaculate and had everything you would need for your stay and then some. The hosts were very responsive. The property was very quiet and peaceful. The cats were an added bonus. Maple and Hazel were absolutely adorable. We loved being greeted by them going in and out of the loft. We can’t wait to come back again when it’s warmer so we can explore the property more.

The unit was so very welcoming and comfortable! We felt right at home immediately. The hosts were also very communicative and friendly. You can tell from every drawer filled with commonly forgotten trip essentials, and above-and-beyond amenities, (like slippers!) that they are genuinely happy to host and want you to enjoy your time. They have a heart for hospitality. We will be back for sure!

We just loved the overall property, barn, surroundings and the barn kittens that welcomed you. I am not a cat person in the least and found myself playing with them every time we returned. We will 100% be back for another stay.

An absolutely gorgeous location! We enjoyed peace, quiet and comfort during our stay. The location is picturesque, quaint and perfectly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the metro area that is essentially a stone's throw away. If you're looking for a relaxing and comfortable environment with all the amenities of home, you'll be hard-pressed to surpass Strawberry Hill Farm.

Good weekend stay

Close enough drive to anything you’d need but still feels quaint and private. Owners were communicative and inviting. Everything was clean and homey. Perfect for a good weekend getaway

Perfect weekend in St.Croix River Valley!

Such a charming guest house! So comfortable and beautifully situated in a quiet street tucked behind the owners home, yet very quiet and private. Plus, the property has horses, outdoor fireplace and is overall just an idyllic scene.

Beautiful location and great stay!

Our group of girlfriends had a great fall weekend getaway during peak fall colors. Jake and Abby were fabulous hosts with great communication. The loft is clean, exactly as described and well-stocked. Would definitely stay again!

Country stay

Cozy and peaceful place to stay. Everything was well stocked from towels, kitchen to firewood. Very clean and host quick to respond. If you love country feel this is the place to stay. Still close to Stillwater and twin cities. We will be back next time in town.

We love the river valley area and the access to so many cities and attractions close by. We both grew up on the east side of MN and never want to leave!

If truly feels like you are way out in the country but without the long drive :) Quiet and serene. Nothing better than a cup of coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise. Its medicine!
