The Space:

Sleeps 10 comfortably: 1 king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom on the ground floor, and a large bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 double bunk beds in the basement. Two sofa beds available if needed. Large open-plan living area on first floor. Top-of-the-range kitchen, TV, high-speed wifi, small foosball table and arcade, books and board games. Guaranteed fun for everyone, all year round!

The Neighborhood:

You'll have the feeling of being alone in the world, yet close to Orford's restaurants and other small shops. The property is easy to get to, and there's plenty to do (skiing or hiking on Mont Orford, the beaches of Lake Fraser or Lake Stukely, horseback riding, Arbre en arbre, Nordic spas, to name but a few). What's more, you'll be less than 15 minutes from downtown Magog or Sherbrooke.

Quel beau chalet! Un gros merci a l'hôte pour ses communications rapides et efficaces. La vue est simplement incroyable! Nous avons fait le shower de bébé et les invités étaient sous le charme! les lits sont confortables, la cuisine est bien équipée pour faciliter les bons repas en famille, jeux de société et arcade pour les plus jeunes, tout y est! Nous aimerions y retourner en été pour profiter de la piscine et du tennis! Je recommande!

We loved this charming spot! It was very well appointed, especially the kitchen. There was plenty of room for all 10 guests to hang out. The outdoor fire pit was a hit, and we even played some pickleball on the tennis court.

This is a wonderful, secluded property that offers quiet relaxation and privacy in a beautiful natural setting. There are plenty of options for recreation and exploration in the surrounding area. The house was nicely furnished and equipped, clean and comfortable. The open floorplan is flooded with natural light and gives a nice, airy quality with a beautiful view. The property is large enough for a family stay, with full bathrooms on both floors and plenty of separation for privacy. The pool and tennis court were nice amenities to have on site. We had one minor problem with a plumbing fixture when we arrived, but the host made sure someone came out to fix it right away, which was very much appreciated. Great communications on the part of the host, they made sure everything was in order and that we had what we needed for a comfortable stay.

Full relaxation after a busy Christmas season

We had terrible weather with storms outside, but it made it all the better to be in this great space with a fireplace lots of room, lots of options and everything you could possibly need. There were a few athletes who very much appreciated the hot tub after a few long workouts. The scenery around is fantastic. Two TVs were there as an option, but as it turned out, we didn’t use them. The Pac-Man, however, was a big hit. Any concerns that we had were answered immediately. If you stay here, you will hear everybody else all the time. The sound carries throughout. But if you’re a close group, it’s no problem. I would book again with enthusiasm. Summer with the pool must be awesome. Thank you Ma Kabane!

Amazing place for relaxing and playing tennis

The house was simply amazing, lots of place for all of us, super clean and nice view on the nature from the living room. The pool is nice and huge but above all having access to our own tennis court was the top entertaining aspect of our vacation. Very good communication with the owner, could not have asked for a better Family getaway. Thank you Caroline and the team.

Great spot!

Beautiful house on a secluded and very quiet property. The floor to ceiling windows make for a great view in the morning. Spacious and relaxing - what a nice way to get away for a few days!

Superbe propriété isolée avec un terrain extraordinaire et plusieurs activités (piscine, spa feu, tennis, etc) et Orford à proximité. Chaleureux et très spacieux, parfait pour un week-end entre amis! L'hôtesse Caroline est très gentille et toujours facile à rejoindre!

South of France in Quebec

Amazing pool and great views. It reminded us a lot of our stay in the south of France, for the style, the amazing views and the good amenities. The owners are very receptive, quick to respond and fix any issues (there was a thunderstorm and the codes were changed but no issues after speaking with the owners). The location is excellent, between Magog and Orford, both a short drive. The only improvement would be the showers and the bath but it does match the overall Provence style :-)
