At the entrance to the Summer Salt community are multiple local businesses, such as Beachside Mini Golf, Doc’s Seafood and Steak, Ruby Slipper Café, and Live Bait.

Unexcused Absences is located just blocks away from the Gulf of Mexico and white sand beaches. Beach access is located nearby at the Romar Beach access point, less than 1 mile away.

Upon entry to the main floor of Unexcused Absences, guests are greeted by an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen with access to the deck with beautiful wetlands views, plus a laundry room and full bathroom right off the living room. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room, books, board games, and an echo dot for music. Upstairs includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Beyond the family-friendly floor plan, this Orange Beach vacation home offers comfortable indoor and outdoor seating for every guest, plus generous flat-screen TVs in the main living area and every bedroom. This home is equipped with four bicycles, perfect for exploring the Back Country Trails.

Kaiser Vacation Rentals practices †Enhanced Cleaning Protocol which includes a complete linen turn-over after every guest. Winter monthly guests are welcome. Unexcused Absences is best booked directly through our website. This home can accommodate up to 3 vehicles in the carport.

Unexcused Absences at Summer Salt also offers an electric vehicle charging station for an additional fee. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome at this property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.
