Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The reviews are correct, if you’re looking for upscale this isn’t it. For just the two of us it was fine. The air conditioners are loud, the bed was hard, not enough drawer space. We brought stuff to cook every night but had difficulty with simple things, no strainer, no pot holders, fire alarm 3 ft above the oven goes off every time you open it. My biggest issue NO broom! Sand is everywhere your a beach vacation spot. We enjoyed the beach and made the best of it.

Just OK

The property is in a good location. The inside is very dated and it looks like many corners were cut in remodeling and furnishing - bare minimum at best. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The shower head was broken (which property manager offered to send someone out but we managed without that), there are broken tiles (some taped up) and holes in the wall (around plumbing). The place did seem fairly clean but really needs an overhaul all the way around. Ok for a night or two l, that’s about it. Could be a nice place with a little time and money invested..the owner should consider.

other than the door lock code not working due to faulty lock and a few bugs in kitchen area it was a nice vacation spot.

Four walls and a ceiling

This experience was unequivocally the most disappointing stay we have ever encountered. Our reservation extended from Wednesday to Sunday, yet from the moment of arrival, numerous issues became immediately apparent. The furnishings were visibly soiled and stained, and the dresser, meant to house pots and pans, was egregiously broken, with its top dislodging upon the slightest touch. Basic amenities were lacking; while a microwave and coffee pot were present, the absence of a toaster was glaring. Furthermore, the inadequate electrical outlets necessitated precarious repositioning of appliances atop the electric stove for use. The living conditions were further marred by stained walls, a hole concealed behind the toilet, and dysfunctional windows that compromised security. The apex of dissatisfaction was reached when the kitchen sink began leaking profusely, rendering the space unusable and causing water damage to surrounding cupboards and countertops. Despite promptly reporting the issue to Vacasa on Wednesday, resolution was egregiously delayed until Saturday, disrupting any semblance of relaxation anticipated during our vacation. Compounding our dismay, the shower exhibited poor drainage, resulting in the unpleasant experience of standing in accumulated water throughout each use. The bathroom outlet, inconveniently positioned above the mirror and inaccessible to those of shorter stature, was non-functional despite attempts to utilize it. Moreover, the singular trash receptacle in the entire residence, absent even from the bathroom, further exacerbated our discomfort. Ultimately, the substandard conditions left our family, comprising two adults and two children, feeling profoundly uneasy and necessitated our premature departure, truncating our intended stay by an entire day. The ONLY reason I gave two stars was because the location of the property. It's is very conveniently located to all shops, beach, stores and restaurants.

Pictures are deceiving

We were supposed to stay at another property on Tybee, however there was an issue with the plumbing at that property and we were notified when we were an hour and a half away. We were sent pictures of Blackbeard’s Revenge and decided to stay there based on those pictures. When we arrived, the lock didn’t work when the code was entered. We were given the code to the lock box to get the key. Upon entering, we found that the furniture was nasty, we saw two roaches in the bathroom our first night there, the TV in the bedroom didn’t work, the shower didn’t drain well, the bathroom light worked intermittently, the kitchen sink had a leak that we didn’t discover until the night before we left and there were tiles held up by electrical tape above the kitchen window. The pictures also showed a microwave on the property however there was not one. We were offered no resolution even after roaches were reported. This was our first experience using Vacasa and will be our last.
