Located on the lower level of a charming 1912 historic home, Beachside Hideaway is the perfect spot for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Just a short 100 steps to Tybee's South Beach and a stone's throw from Tybee's Back River, enjoy crabbing, fishing, and kayaking right at your doorstep!

The Hideaway is also just three blocks from the lively Pier and Strand Ave, where you'll find shopping, dining, and entertainment options. This cozy one-bedroom, one-bath apartment comfortably accommodates a couple or a small family of up to four guests. Relax on the private, covered deck just outside your front door, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.

Please note: As Beachside Hideaway is located on the lower level of a historic house, some parts of the ceiling may be lower than usual. If you're 6 feet tall or more, please be aware of this feature. Perfect for those who prefer to park the car and explore on foot, Beachside Hideaway is an ideal base for your Tybee getaway.

Great location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a cozy little one bedroom apartment just steps away from the S. Beach entrance. It was clean, large shower with great water pressure and a large covered porch to store beach toys and bicycles. A few problems (burnt out light bulb, etc) were addressed immediately. Kitchen was well equipped. We weren't told where to park but once that was figured out the stay was uneventful and we really enjoyed the house. The South Beach is nicer and way less crowded than the mid-beach area around the pier but the apartment is still just a few blocks away from all the shops and restaurants in that area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect for quick walk to beach. Rental was so cute. Larger and prettier than photos can capture. Comfortable bed and couch. Large bathroom with walk-in shower. Rental did have a musty smell in the beginning and we aired out quickly. As this is an old historic homes, it can be normal especially as this unit is on the ground floor. It did not affect my respiratory allergies. I recommend this adorable unit.
