We traveled to AL from NC with a group of lifetime college friends to attend a football game in Tuscaloosa and decided to stay Birminghams. It was a great decision. Our time at Vulcan’s Knee was very comfortable and spacious. The host was responsive and took action when needed. Definitely would recommend and book again when in the area.

The house was great for us with 4 children and 6 adults. The weather was hot but it might have been nice to have the backyard. The grass was very high so we couldn’t get out there. Just a thought

It was the perfect house for our gathering of 11 family members (6 adults an 5 kids). We loved being able to look out the kitchen window @ Vulcan. The kids were very excited about the secret “Speakeasy” room, and the pool table was used almost continuously. The air conditioning was excellent, even during the last week of July, when we were there. Thank you to Delaine, who was very accommodating.

We booked this house for a bachelor trip for a group of 12 guys. The house itself was spacious and exactly as pictured. Our only complaint was that the pool table was not playable as advertised, the balls all rolled to one side and was in rough shape which was a bummer because it was one of main reason we booked this place.

House had what we needed--a large kitchen, tables for work space, and the right number of beds/baths. Had we not been in Birmingham for work, we could have enjoyed the front porch and game room more. I would stay here again.

Wow, this house is amazing! I was blown away by how spacious this place is. The historic charm is indescribable without seeing for yourself. My volleyball players, families, and I (the coach) all stayed here and had such a memorable experience. If you have a large group, look no further, this is a must see! Check in/out instructions were simple & clearly communicated. Host was responsive & helpful. 10/10!
