Falls short of expectations
We stayed for three nights in this home. Here are the positives: the location is convenient, the BBQ grill is excellent, the refrigerator is nice, the game room is a great addition, and the view is beautiful.
However, there are several areas that need improvement. The pots and pans are in terrible condition; the handles are missing, and the nonstick surfaces are peeling. Additionally, there is a camera in the kitchen, which is against VRBO's policy of not having cameras inside the home. The flooring is coming up, and there is a sign asking guests to take off their shoes, which is impossible given the condition of the floors. My boys' socks were snagged and torn from the damaged flooring.
The cleanliness of the unit was also subpar. There was orange mold in the showers, a greasy countertop by the popcorn machine, and the air vent in the hall was covered with dust bunnies. The smart home features did not work either.
Overall, this home needs a deep clean, new flooring, and the purchase of new cookware to meet the expected standards.
