The house was ok. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. The carpets were all stained and dirty. When I pulled out the sofa bed for my son to allow in there was a dirty sock , dog hair and food crumbs I had to clean up. Very disgusting! The couch was gross also! Very dirty!

Mountain Escape

There was an issue booking and we did not get there house we intended but were put in another property with the same name. Vrbo was no help in getting the issue resolved. The property manager at least tried to assist but still wanted us to give up 50% of our rental cost to rebook into another of their properties.The house was quaint and was as described. The bathroom and kitchen need updating and a good cleaning. The living room couch was filled with stains. The house has a smoke smell as soon as you entered. We had to purchase air freshener to combat the smell. The location was nice. The hot tub was clean and a nice perk of the rental. The cost was inflated and the house was not worth the cost overall.

Can you say dirty?

First impression; seat of rocking chair on deck torn beyond use. Second impression: Went to use the toilet, and the stench of urine was so bad that I had to use dish soap and water (all that was available) to clean the toilet inside and out, the walls on both sides of the toilet, and the floor behind it before I would let my wife in to use it. Behind the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in a long time!! Third impression: mold on the bottom of the shower door, and on the upper part of the walls, especially evident in the shower area. After seeing all that we didn’t trust anything, and cleaned all the counters and washed all dishes, cutlery, cutting boards, etc. before using.
