Soak up the laid-back luxury of this 5-bedroom oceanfront retreat in the heart of Surfside Beach—complete with a private pool, wide-open views, and a breezy open-concept living space designed for gathering, unwinding, and coastal daydreaming. Step out onto the oceanfront porch or brand-new master deck for sunrise views, seashell hunts, or a stroll to the pier, restaurants, and everything this walkable beach town has to offer.

PRIVATE POOL
Open year-round. Pool heating is available in spring and fall (Apr 1–May 31, Sept 1–Oct 31) for an additional $250 + tax per week. Heating is only effective when temperatures—day and night—are forecasted to be above 60°F. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This is our third time staying at this property and we absolutely love it. The location is amazing and the house perfectly fits our large extended family and all of our needs. It's so rare to find a dining room table that can accommodate all 12 of us!! We've stayed in many other houses over the years and none of them have been such a perfect fit. We hope to continue staying here for years to come!

Gorgeous view

In my family not everyone is able or wants to be on the beach but with the location of the house you can enjoy the beach and ocean from the balcony and even inside with the picture windows.

Wonderful

What a view!! It was so nice waking up and seeing the ocean first thing. So convenient to be able to go to the beach, come home for a bite to eat and go back to the beach. It’s literally steps away.

Spring Break with the Crew

I give this house five out of five stars. We were impressed as soon as we open the door. The house layout was perfect for our family of six adults and six children. Everyone had their own bathroom and TV. With the beautiful ocean view, the incredible beach, and the convenience of the swimming pool, not much TV watching took place. Kudos to the pool table which kept the family occupied in the evening hours. all communication with the property managers was excellent. I received prompt replies, and they were always very courteous. I would definitely plan to stay at this house if I ever come back to Surfside Beach. Was not a great fan of the jellyfish just had to put that in. The Connor family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't beat the location of this rental home. Surfside is a great town and the waterfront home is in a great location. The management company is very responsive from beginning to end and everywhere in between. They are all wonderful.The home however is in need of repair. It seems like the owner is only willing to band aid problems and most of it hasn't been updated in quite a while. Very old spigots and faucets, mis matched furniture, the washer and dryer are ancient. The kitchen, although has plenty of plates/utensils/glassware (rare for rentals), is a big mess of pots and pans and things just thrown into cupboards. In general, the place is clean, there was hot water for 11 of us and the beds (not the pillows) are relatively comfortable. Also, the air-conditioning works very well. So, if you can overlook the bones of the place, you really are paying for the beachfront location.

The house was perfect for the 14 of us. We loved the location, and the ease of going from the pool to the beach. We were the first to stay after a new larger gorgeous deck was added. We did run into some troubles with the pool heater not working, and the dryer not drying, but bask away was very attentive in correcting the problems. Highly recommend.

My only issue with the home is that we would never have chosen the home had we known there was a part missing for the pool so it could not be heated. We had paid for the pool to be heated in advance but we were never told the pool was missing a part. The only reason we chose this home was for the views and the fact that the pool could be heated. We were reimbursed immediately so that was not an issue. Just very disappointed we couldn’t swim for the week we were there.

Actually Stayed in Salty Breeze in Murrells Inlet

Brian adeptly resolved a complication with our Beach Cabana booking by presenting us with alternative arrangements for our vacation. He excels in communication and smoothly transitioned our booking to the Salty Breeze, which turned out to be a significant enhancement. The Salty Breeze has recently undergone an impressive renovation, boasting a functional floor plan and all the modern conveniences to facilitate a comfortable stay. Our entire interaction with Bask Away was marked by utmost professionalism, and the Salty Breeze property is truly exceptional. During our Spring Break, my family and extended family shared an unforgettable stay at this house, adding to our history of memorable trips. We're eager to return to Murrells Inlet for another week either at Salty Breeze or another of Bask Away's properties. We reveled in the sensation of having the beach almost exclusively to ourselves, and the efforts of Brian, Christi, and the entire Bask Away team in meeting our needs were outstanding. We extend our thanks to Bask Away and look forward to our next visit!

Very disappointed not worth the money!!

Had to wait 30 minutes for cleaning crew to finish, couldn't get in till 4:30,no pool table as shown in pictures,rip in couch,dirty dishes in cabinet, dirty top sheet, found digusting coffee pot with coffee and filter still in it from MONTHS ago,ice dispenser from outside fridge door didn't work,dishes left in dishwasher,only 1 rack in oven,large roach in upstairs room,old and outdated furniture nothing matched,having to RENT a grill and pool toys, ridiculous! Pool was not clean upon arrival.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arriving, it was extremely hot in the house with several flies. We called to have someone look at the air conditioner two nights in a row, as it was 78 degrees in the house. The maintenance person said he fixed the issue but text him again the third night and never got back to us. The house is old and dated and needed a deep cleaning, floors were still dirty and sandy, bedding sheets were paper thin and pillow and no zipped covers, only a thin pillow case and they were flat like pancakes. The steps needed painting and there was chipped woodwork all over. The fans that wet left there were full of dust so you could not turn them on. Kitchen aplpliances were old. The light bulbs in most bedrooms were burnt out, had only 1 working lamp in bedroom. Those things should be checked before new renters enter. The pool table had no usable sticks and I had asked to have new ones or at least tips dropped off and no one ever came. The kids were really looking forward to using the table so we went out and bought them. Would never return to this house.The most disturbing and devastating thing to happen was the day we left a family member woke up covered in bites which most definitely are bed bugs. I have pictures to prove it that were taken. Not a good way to end a vacation. The only positive thing was the location.

Overall experience.

The team who I communicated with throughout were great. Responsive and helpful. That’s all I can say of it being a positive experience. In looking at the pictures the place looked really amazing. However once there we were disappointed in the cleanliness. The floors were gritty. Sandy. We kept our sandals and or socks on while there. Linens kept coming off the bed. We went to make coffee one morning and old, moldy coffee grounds were in the container. Lastly, I closed the door leading out to the porch last night and the black dirt inside the sliding door area was nasty. We were there 3 nights. Had we been there for a week, I would’ve picked up cleaning supplies and cleaned it. Highly disappointed with the price we paid for the rental and overall cleanliness. We stayed here due to its proximity to CCU. With future planning, I will return to north Myrtle beach.

Reviewer Comments: Initially we had another house rented in garden city with a different rental company. 2 weeks before our vacation/family wedding celebration , we were told the house had been flooded!! They didn’t have another suitable house to move us too. So I desperately scrambled to find another beach front house. Luck was on my side since this house was miraculously available and the added bonus ... it had a pool and the lay out was even better than what we had before! I couldn’t believe it. I went from tears of frustration to tears of joy!!!Such a delightful roomy carefree vacation home! Can’t beat the location, the beach, the pool, the rooms-each with their own bathroom! Perfect for the 12 of us! Loved that the towels and sheets were both included as well as the basics! I know that Bask is a newer rental company but if they keep up with their properties I can easily see them becoming a fierce competitor with the other rental companies. It was all seamless and stress free! So grateful we got to stay in such a wonderful beach home! Thank you!

It looked like it had never been painted since it was built probably 20 years ago. The paint is that bad!!! The pool area was full of weeds, trash, dirt and again needs to be repainted. Its clear from the state of the house upon our arrival that Bask Away does not properly maintain this property. I would advise anyone I know to not rent a property from Bask Away. We will never rent from Bask Away again!!!

We noted upgrades such as a new bed in the 1 queen bedroom, painted decks, new wood boards on the walkway to the beach, and blinds/shades in the master bedroom upstairs. Maybe even a new dishwasher. This place accommodates our 3 families well. Also, staff when needing assistance is also friendly and prompt. The pool filter got jammed with sand from our children, and someone was over quickly to resolve the issue. Another happy year in the books with bask away.

Also overall hard to clean after yourself for a full week when nothing is provided to clean up with. No dishwasher pods Only 1 trash bag was in the kitchen bin No K cups, kitchen sponge, hand soap in any bathroom, bath salts for soaking tub were provided Dish soap in kitchen had only 2-3 pumps worth of soap remaining then was emptyMost outlets in all bedrooms controlled by the light switch so only one thing could be plugged in at a time during the night. Need some warning of that or should provide outlet extenders. Multiple Pillows smelled sweaty / not clean - recommend washing pillows themselves. Side note: Upstairs king room bathroom - shower doors need realignment, hard to slide
