Lookout Lodge offers spectacular panoramic mountain views from the spacious deck overlooking the 13-acre property. Conveniently located less than a minute from the Blue Ridge Parkway you're a quick drive to many hiking trails including the infamous Jumpinoff Rock Overlook and Cascade Falls. With just a 15-minute drive to West Jefferson, a 30-minute drive to Boone or a 25-minute drive to Wilkesboro, you can enjoy shops, restaurants, breweries and festivals. From tubing /kayaking on the New River to enjoying the fall foliage to cutting down the family Christmas tree to skiing, there is something to do year-round.

Wonderful place to stay. A great location for easy travel to North Wilksboro or West Jefferson. The property has a lot of history associated with it and wonderful views from the back deck.

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and offered stunning mountain views. The host was incredibly nice and accommodating, even allowing us a later check-out time which made our departure so much less stressful. Highly recommend staying here!

Cabin was very cozy!! Beautifully decorated!! Great view off of back deck. Had all essentials needed for stay. Only drawback was being right off a busy roadway. A little noisy at night.

The property is in pristine condition, exactly as described and photographed. We experienced immense tranquility, with breathtaking views and a star-studded sky. Additionally, it offers easy access to various attractions.

Perfect Jumping Off Point to Boone & Beyond!

Lookout Lodge was a perfect hub spot for all of our Boone area adventures! The property was very clean and well appointed - and THE VIEWS!!!Jack is a super attentive host and was very responsive to all requests. We'd love to come back!

Amazing lookout lodge

Everything was perfect! The decor of the cabin set the mountain mood and the hosts had everything available that we could possibly need or want. Really enjoyed celebrating our 45rth anniversary there and would definitely go back again with family. I have to say our first concern on arrival was the traffic noise but inside the cabin we didn't hear a thing and slept like babies. Amazing view and beautiful decorations that give a cozy vibe.

The place felt very homey, it was easy to get comfortable and relax to fully enjoy our stay. Definitely planning to return next year! The host was very quick to respond for any questions I had which made the whole process a lot smoother and comfortable.

Beautiful Views and Memories

Growing up my family would frequent the old bar this beautiful home once was. Through out the years I’ve watched in hopes someone would save it. The owners did was an amazing job! It was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Jack was great and super responsive.
