My stay at The Dobson residence
The apartment was cozy and exactly as advertised. Meant for one, but it did accommodate my needs as well as my teenage son's, who stayed with me for a couple of weeks and slept on an additional, portable bed. The neighbors and the neighborhood is quiet, there are stores within walking distance, the Internet was speedy and I loved the smart TV which allowed me to play my movies from my USB stick. Maybe the location of the bathroom next to the kitchen isn't the best option, but one could see as the architecture of the building probably prompted for it, since the pipers are on one side. The thermostat was working and the heat plus the ceiling fan were a great addition to getting comfortable on the love seat in front of the TV. I loved the neighborhood, although it was a little out of the way when it came to going in and out of the city, however the 49B bus servicing Western is only about 3-4 mins of walking distance. It comes regularly and every time I had to do a commute I found it to be very reliable. The apartment is fully furnished, the towels and sheets are clean, the mattress soft enough for a good night's sleep. I feel the host has been more than communicative and overall she has made sure that I got the best experience possible. Highly recommended!
