Spend the night overlooking the beautiful Texas Hill Country in our custom-built cabin close to music, antiques and true Texas spirit. Enjoy countryside living including a queen size bed, full size futon, newly renovated bathroom with romantic open room bathtub, outside grill and a front porch for relaxing. Pets welcome.

Located near the heart of Texas Wine Country and Luckenbach.

The cabin was very cute and will organized. It was also very private and the scenery was gorgeous. It was about 10 miles off the highway, but the roads were really good. There was a little trouble, hooking up to Internet and managing the television, but otherwise a great place to stay.

We loved the new bathroom! The mini-split a/c and the larger refrigerator are nice additions also. This was our 3rd stay at Dad's Cabin and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Our family of 5 (plus two large dogs) booked this cabin for a quick overnight getaway. In addition to the queen bed and futon, we were able to fit two twins air mattresses and two large dog kennels. Although it is a studio, we were surprised with how adequately it fit us. The space is cozy and clean. Jenna was very quick to respond to me, and great to work with. It gets tiresome keeping kids/dogs quiet in rentals. This property is so laid back, plenty of rural space to roam. The kids and pups could just be free and live life. No close neighbors, no crazy rules. Just nature. 10 out of 10 on this property. We would love to return again!!

Very easy check in, hosts left firewood out as well which was super nice, didn’t see a fire pit in pictures so that was a nice surprise. Had everything we needed, loved our stay would 100% recommend!

Nice property if you are not expecting many extras. It is clean with modern bathroom fixtures. No kitchen sink but the bathroom works for the few utensils you may use with the hot plate. Nice refrigerator.

This quaint, little cabin was perfect for my husband and me. It was sufficient, cozy, private, and a much needed Texas Hill country oasis!! The hosts were fabulous! They sent our check in information in a timely manner and were very explicit about both check in and check out procedures, which as a renter is always super helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future!

We were a little disappointed and unprepared for the cooking arrangements. There was only 1 plate and 1 fork. It was a little difficult to wash dishes in the bathroom. The secluded area was super nice. This is a neat little place just needs some extra dishes added.

My Dad built this cabin himself even milling the wood out of fallen trees from Hurricane Katrina. My husband and I purchased the property from his estate and we would love to share it with you.

If you are looking for city lights and a big party this is not the place for you. Quiet and serene this little piece of land disconnects you from the day to day noise of cell phones and city. You will have minimal cell signal here. You have to find that sweet spot in the cabin to get a signal.
