Unwind after an epic day of skiing powder in this cozy mountain home. Cedar Summit is a hidden treasure at Fernie Alpine Resort. With its vaulted ceilings and gorgeous river rock fireplace, the house is a great place to relax after a day of skiing. Relax in the gazebo with attached hot tub is surrounded by trees giving you a sense of privacy. The covered decks front and back are a great place to visit with friends and family while enjoying the mountain views. All this plus a large game room, an open-concept kitchen and five spacious bedrooms.

Ski home after riding powder all day. You’ll love the peaceful location, proximity to the ski hill & bike trails, the hot tub, pool table, coziness & rustic charm. Cedar Summit provides a quiet getaway for friends and families to gather and enjoy a mountain experience.

Amazing Mountain home with everything you could want to have a fabulous family getaway. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space and beds for guests. Good beds, pillows and linens for a good nights sleep. So many nice touches in this gorgeous home. We spent Thanksgiving weekend with our family and grandkids and would love to come back! Thanks for a great stay Michel and Lara!

We were a group of 12 adults in Fernie to celebrate my 50th birthday. We were there for moutain biking and hiking and a little of partying in between. The property was perfect for our group with plenty of room for all of us. The backyard was great with the hot tub, gazebo, and fire put for hanging out outdoors. In the evenings, there was plenty of room for us to dine, hang out, play games and generally have a great time. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very well-equipped property, with lots of nice added touches like Kleenex, shampoo, kitchen condiments. Kitchen has everything you need — and more. Hosts are very accessible and check-in was very easy. Definitely recommended!

25th Anniversary Boys Weekend Trip

This property was fantastic and well appointed. A great quiet stay to visit with good friends. Not to mention the unreal skiing and snowboarding with 23cm of fresh powder! Especially nice was the well appointed kitchen, with a group that cooks from scratch, it was nice to see sharp kitchen prep knives and a variety of cooking utensils and pots and pans.

Great home for large groups

This is a beautiful, well-appointed home, that sleeps seven adults very comfortably. Great spaces for dining, socializing, and relaxing. The owners have taken great care with small niceties, like sandals for getting out to the hut tub, and enough boot and glove dryers for large groups. There was nothing we wished the home had that it didn’t.

Fabulous family getaway in paradise!

We arrived at the house and it was just as we seen on the VRBO website. We walked in and immediately felt at home. The owners are always available for contact ! Perfect get away for our very busy family. We enjoyed everything about the home. The moose that visited the back yard was a bonus! We will be back

Perfect fernie house

We came up to fernie for a ski trip and this house was the perfect spot. Close to the ski hill, not far from town. Great house with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Bonuses: hot tub is huge, play room in the basement with games, priority parking pass usage. Next time we will bring the families but this time was nice with just the friends.

Incredible Chalet with Incredible Views

We have a group of 8 skiiers that came in for 5 nights and couldn't have been more taken back. The hosts were incredible. Friendly and quick to respond if needed. The chalet was beyond words. Spacious, clean, cozy and too many amenities to list (boot dryers, house coats for the hottub, etc). We would return and recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Mountain Home Visit

This home was perfect for our two families - beautiful, cozy and it felt like home. The home is very well stocked with everything you will need. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table especially. Great location and close to all of our daily adventures. We enjoyed fly fishing, hiking, swimming/cliff jumping, whitewater rafting and exploring the beautiful downtown. The hosts were fantastic communicators before and during our trip!

Perfect family property

We were so lucky to find Mich and Laura's property. It fit our family need to stay and have a reunion/wedding. It is close to everything and had so many great features. The hot tub was great. The extra bar fridges helped a lot!

All that we dreamed it would be!

In the pictures, this was our dream chalet. And, it overdelivered. Fantastic location with a surprising amount of privacy. Really cozy, while also having plenty of space for a big group. And... the pool table, games room, downstairs bar, hot tub and gazebo made us love our stay. Fun weekend, for sure! Great communication with the hosts as well. Seamless from start to finish. Thanks for a great getaway!

We have been coming to Fernie for 20 years and love this area. We enjoy international travel and have stayed in numerous vacation properties worldwide. Spending time with friends and family is important to us and having a quiet, serene place in the mountains allows us to do just that! While guests won't come across pets or experience a little animal love during their stay, our dog visits with us occasionally. While our cleaning staff diligently makes our home ready for new guests, trace allergens may still be present.

The layout of this home provides the space for visiting with friends and family while providing the opportunity to retreat to the spacious bedrooms when needed. The crackling fire in the living room is the perfect area to relax after a day of skiing, biking or hiking while enjoying a glass of wine or local Fernie Brewing Company beer. The covered decks are a great way to start the morning with a cup of hot coffee and a blanket; with birds chirping and the wind rustling the trees, it is a refreshing start to the day away from the busy city.
