Spring Break 2025

We had the best time at our fantastic Key Colony Bay oasis. It was the perfect size for us and our 2 adult children. We used the bikes, kayaks and the Cabana Club - and the screened in lanai was perfect for meals and games. This is an ideal location and our host was also attentive and helpful! We would stay again and hopefully longer!

Nice!

Communication with property manager could be improved. Property was as described and was very nice. Could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and cleaning supplies. Loved the outdoor space! Enjoyed our visit and would rent again.

Relaxing Vacation

Loved the patio and tiki hut. Great for coffee in the morning and almost all-day shade. We had a very, fun and relaxing week. This was out second stay. We would come back! Thanks, Erin, for all of your help!

Wonderful place to relax

The duplex was wonderful- all photos and descriptions are accurate. Perfect place for two couples to stay. We really enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch in the mornings and evenings. We would watch the boats go by on the patio relaxing under the tiki hut. Unit is very clean and updated. Well equipped. We loved being able to walk down the street a couple blocks to watch the sunset in the park. Only downside is the pool is almost a mile away. We took the car. There is parking. Once you get there the cabana club, pool, and beach were great. There is lots to do in Marathon, and Key Wedt is just an hour and fifteen minutes away.

Wonderful time at Endless Summer

Property was clean, cozy, and worked perfectly for our family. We had a great time! The property manager was communicative and extremely timely with replies. I have only good things to say about our stay here.

Christmas in the Keys!

The house was great for a group of three! There was plenty of space and the outdoor porch was great. It made the house feel like we had double the living space and we spent most of our time there. The host was very accommodating and make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Hopefully, we will get another chance to stay in Key Colony Beach!

Could have been better

We pulled our boat 7 hours to this site. After arriving confusion began. We were permitted to place some items on Lanai before checkin of 4pm. Unit cleaning was to be performed before entering unit. Cleaners were confused and thought it was still occupied. They arrived at 530pm to clean asked them to come back next day. Grill grates were all rusted replaced. Had to reset ice maker. AC filter was laying in air handler closet next to water heater that had a layer of dirt for sometime. Stove glasstop had burnt residual material on it. 2 washcloths for 4 people. No remotes for recliners on couch. The icing female underwear laying on floor behind couch. We had no where else to stay or we would have. Unit was paid for and agent didn`t seem to concerned as they said they have NEVER had a complaint before. Do agents ever walk propertys? They certainly would have seen the issues we encountered. Property would be VERY nice if it was properly maintained. I feel when you pay a significant amount of money for a 1 week stay NOBODY should have to deal with the issues. Location a 10 cleanliness a 0. Please contact me if further details are needed.

This property delivered!

Property was as listed, listing is accurate. Very comfortable to stay at and the screened in lanai area was a definitive plus. Since we stayed at the property in August, it was too hot to spend a lot of time in the lanai. But it worked out well to be able to store our dive gear after using it and drying it in the sun. The dock worked well for our use. I had read a review where the reviewer gave a caution about the difference between the dock and boat during high tide and low tide. We tied up the boat as we normally do and didn't notice anything abnormal. We really appreciated being able to park our truck under the carport. Kept the truck from being unbearably hot. I had a self-induced issue with a package being delivered and the communication between the management company and myself was prompt and appreciated. FYI, USPS mail gets delivered to the Key Colony Beach post office, and not the individual homes. No issues with Amazon or FedEx. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Vacation

All was just as listed and pictured. Extremely clean. Loved the outdoor space. Both screened porch and outside overlooking the dock. We spent a lot of time outside watching boats cruising in and out of the canal when we weren’t out on our own. Neighbors were wonderful and had just purchased the other side. Highly recommend and look forward to returning next year. .

Perfect rental in KCB

This property is just as advertised- adorably decorated and perfect for a small family. The space is stylish and well-utilized. It has all you need for boating, beaching, cooking, and of course, cocktails. The outside patio living space is so nice. We would have spent more time out there if had not been July. The owner is nice and has provided a book with great suggestions for local fare and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice extras included

We had a wonderful week. Very convenient for keeping our boat and short canal ride out directly from the back door. Plenty of parking for both our cars and boat trailer. The place was perfect for the 4 of us. The bicycles and Kayaks were nice extras which we used them both. Very clean and nice large porch area was great to hang out mornings and evenings. Our week was unusually windy which made boating challenging but helped stay cooler from the heat and enjoy being outside! We would definitely recommend this property. Pictures are very accurate.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the house and the use of the Cabana Club. The beach may be small there but it was probably the clearest water we found on any of the beaches we visited while in the Keys. The house was great and had everything we needed!!

Lovely house.

Online description and photos are accurate. The outdoor screened in space is wonderful this time of year. This is where we spent all of our time when at the house starting with the first cup of coffee in the morning. The location is a great place for home base while exploring the Keys.

Perfect VRBO

We stayed for a week in March and had a wonderful vacation. This property was fully renovated, spotless, great location, comfortable beds and had everything we needed, plus extras. We loved being on the canal, docking our boat out back, fishing off the dock, enjoyed the screened porch, bikes, corn hole and the Cabana Beach Club. Communication with the manager was great. We highly recommend this rental.

Don hesitate BOOK

We had an absolute blast staying in Key Colony. The house was perfect for what we wanted. We stayed for a month and if you love being active this is the place for you. We could ride our bikes to 4 different restaurants and bars which was so convenient. We love playing pickleball and really enjoyed playing daily. The 3 par golf course is small but for $15 it works. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and to our surprise we saw a shark, manatee, jellyfish and Tarpon. So much fun to just watch the fish light at dark to see what was there. Erin was great to work with. If we needed anything she was just a text away. The bed in the master was very comfy. My husband has had back surgery so it is hard to find a bed on vacation that he can sleep well in. Only 1 minor complaint. There is a kurig but no coffee pot. For us coffee drinkers K cups get expensive. We will definitely be back.

A perfect 4 week stay

We loved the time we spent at Key Colony Beach. It is a wonderful community and everyone we met was so nice. The house was perfect and we felt like we were at home. The location is perfect for exploring The Keys. We used the bikes and the kayaks several times and the kitchen supplies were better than most VRBOs we have rented. The beds were comfortable and we loved the screened porch area and sitting by the canal. We will definitely return!

Great location on the water.

We spent a week centrally located in Marathon at a great house that was well equipped for a week’s stay. We would recommend this house to our family and friends as a quiet place with easy access to all of the keys in both directions.

Comfortable and relaxing!

We love our stay here. We have stayed at Key Colony before but this was by far the nicest and most thoughtfully laid out place that we have rented. The wrap around screened porch was so comfortable that we spent most of the time here when we were home. It was fun to have movie night outside on the porch. We did fish off the dock which is always a lot of fun and always enjoy watching the boats go by each day. We also enjoyed the bikes and had fun riding around Key Colony and having the ability to ride the bikes up to the beach club was great. We definitely would recommend staying here and hopefully will be back again.

Perfect place

Great place

Great for what we did which was swim and snorkel most of time. The dock is awkward, bring long dock lines. The dock is also is rough shape so wear shoes at all time and watch for loose boards. Cleats on dock not securely installed.

Boater’s Paradise

We loved our stay in KCB. I may have spent more time relaxing on the dock than I actually spent on my boat. I have stayed in several duplexes in KCB over the years and this was by far my favorite home. The house was exceptionally clean, well stocked and I couldn’t have asked for a more convenient check-in process. We’ll definitely be booking for the same time next year.
