Then fish off of the lighted dock with bonus underwater lighting. Note: Shared common areas with guests of the other 1/2 duplex Property #2178313 - pool, hot tub, outdoor cookout, grill, Blackstone griddle, ice machine. Each 1/2 duplex has own dock for 1 boat and parking for one vehicle. Read more Reviews for Property #2178313, the other 1/2 side which has been in rental thru VRBO since 2021. This side 1 bed 1 bath has only been a vacation rental since 2023, hence not many reviews. It's the same property, amenities, owners, hosts management and attention to detail as in Property #2178313 with more stays and reviews.
Rent this half which has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom - sleeps 2 Adults (Queen size sofa bed in the living room for a teenager). 4-door new stainless steel Refrigerator has built in ice maker and plenty of space for your food and drinks. Comfortable bed, white fluffy towels and soft linens. Your home away from home awaits.
Walk out the French doors to backyard tiki paradise. Pool (heated from December to March @ no extra cost) ; 4-person Hot tub for total relaxation & hydro therapy; Dock your boat right out back & indulge in some night fishing off of the lighted dock with underwater lighting!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The property had everything we could have asked for and more. The docks for fishing and the boat slip made it so convenient to get on the water. The house itself was wonderful—beautifully updated, comfortable, and spotless.The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a day out, and the tiki bar, cook area, and ice machine were such extras that really set this place apart. We also loved that paddle boards, a bike, and a kayak were provided— making it easy to enjoy the water and explore the area. The location couldn’t be better—close to marinas, fishing, and every restaurant imaginable. The tenants in #23 were no issue at all and caused no disturbance, which made the stay even more peaceful.We loved every minute of our trip and can’t wait to come back!

This place was absolutely amazing. It’s got a bunch of great restaurants around it and the pool and in the back are amazing after a long day on the boat. The docking is really easy and it’s only a short ride out to the Atlantic side. There is also a marina in the same bay the house is in so getting gas or bait in the morning is really easy. It’s honestly the perfect little spot for just about anything you want to do.

Being able to fish off the dock right in the backyard was very nice. Having the pool was very enjoyable.

awesome amenities!

A true gem of a property. Not knowing anything about the area ,we wanted a quiet respite and that is exactly what we had in store. The pool and hot tub were such a bonus! Walking out on the dock in the morning and seeing the many, many dolphins swim past was such an unexpected treat. We used the outdoor grill and flattop griddle everyday and the hostess was nice enough to have propane in both. The bar area was such a lovely area to sit and dine, as was our private outdoor seating area. The home is clean, nice linens and really just what we were looking for in a getaway! Thank you Divinia for all the nice touches!!!

All you need

Stayed here for 2 weeks with friends renting the other side. planned on doing more excursions but staying here with the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar, and being on the water we were content just to enjoy all the amenities! The hosts were very helpful if we had any questions. Would gladly book again.

Key Colony Beach

Overall, the property was very nice. Kitchen updated and modern. Pool is excellent as is the view out back. Hot tub/spa was only lukewarm, though. We are in our seventies, so a suggestion would be to install a grab bar in the shower. A problem with the TV and the pool heater were resolved immediately. Nice place to stay for a couple.

Nice spot, weird quirks, too many rules!

The home was a beautiful spot on Key Colony in Marathon, Florida. That's the good part. This rental is not for people who like endless written rules. Rules for the out of order ceiling fan. Rules that were wrong for working the tv and laundry. Rules for a smart toilet, that was crazy with the two seats going up and down when I trying to sit on it. Rules for a laundry room with the water settings backward. The bathroom shower did not have a grab bar, and I had to put my index finger top in the hole of the glass door to get out of the shower. The owner's husband said he was buying at least four new outdoor chairs, because 1 broke, and another was ready to break. But it seems he brought chairs with weak backs and rust from his home instead. The door to the patio could not shut easily and the upper lock could not be used. Very noisy air conditioning and pool heating units, dripping constantly making waking areas unsafe. When the outdoor pool heating unit stop working, owner told me to stop looking at the equipment codes in a text. I now understand why there are so many rules... equipment doesn't work properly. Location a 5, Pool a 4.5, Rules a 1. BATHROOM, a 2.5. Noisy air conditioners 0. There were other things. The owner said she would rent directly to us next time to reduce VRBO costs. There won't be a next time.

Good time in the keys

This place was perfect for us. The pool was amazingly warm and was used by us every day as a night cap. The host was great and communication was awesome.

Centrally located in the Keys

DIVINA is a great host. We stayed in the smaller unit and it was clean and well stocked with cooking utensils. We stayed for 8 nights and other than some construction at the sea wall, everything looks just like the pictures. The grill and Blackstone Griddle came in real handy for outdoor cooking. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent stay with endless amenities in Marathon!

This property has everything you need to enjoy yourself in the keys & fish the Marathon area. There is really no reason to leave, other than to hop on the boat. It offers endless amenities, and then some. No other place in Marathon has the amenities that this location has in its location! If you're keeping a boat there, the location is extremely well protected, and is +/- 5 miles to many of the main fishing grounds. Highly recommended! Divina is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Place

This property is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy a stay in The Keys! The outside space is amazing and the house was just what we needed -- comfy bed and great appliances. Our friends rented the other side of the duplex and we had a great week around the tiki bar and in the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is over the top with a pool and hot tub. The inside was very clean and up to date kitchen and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The bed was a little small. The owner was very nice and easy to talk to.

GREAT SPOT

My wife and I spent a week at this property during spring break. IT WAS PERFECT. The house was clean, quiet, and up to date inside and out. Communication with the owner was just terrific and she was incredibly responsive to the few questions we had. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Full Cable TV in the living room and bedroom. Outside was very quiet, the pool water was crystal clear. There were multiple lounge chairs and two finger piers for fishing. My wife caught three fish. At night water off the finger piers were lit up so you could see the fish swimming. During the day we spotted several Manatee, a couple of dolphins swam by, turtles and tons of pelicans. Our favorite spot was the bar at the tiki hut. The grill worked great, tons of ice and a third TV outside. We will absolutely be back.

Relaxing Spot in the Keys

Super clean and comfortable little island paradise! Divina was a great host-very responsive and visited frequently to make sure we were OK. We were able to walk to 4 restaurants and to Sunset Park. The Key Colony restaurant has happy hour with $5 apps which are enough for dinner. There is also a tennis/pickleball facility nearby. The pool and hot tub at the property were heated and very inviting, even on chilly days. The waterfront view is gorgeous and there are lounge chairs in addition to a cute tiki bar with outdoor tv. This is a shared space but we enjoyed meeting the other guests. There were 3 bikes and Divina said they will be replacing a 4th. We rode all over the Key Colony Community. There were 2 kayaks which we did use but had to wait until high tide since it’s a little difficult to launch off the pier. One paddle was broken and we told Divina and she was going to address that. Life jackets were available and there were also paddle boards, which we didn’t use. Highly recommend checking in at the visitor center and checking with Divina to see what activities are available. We found out about a turtle release on sombrero beach, the farmers market, best places for sunsets, art and music events and recommended restaurants/food trucks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Quick Fishing Trip

Perfect spot! We found this place and it seemed to be the ideal setup as we just needed a place to wind down and crash after being on the flats all day everyday. It turned out to be so much more than that. Divina was a wonderful host and very helpful upon arrival as well as through out the stay. The backyard is an oasis! Right on the water we were able to keep fishing until our heads hit the pillow. The pool and Tiki situation in the back was amazing and it was an easy decision to watch the Super Bowl there instead of hitting the bars because we were fairly certain that we wouldn’t be able to find anything better. Great location as we were meeting our guides in different spots every day and very quiet out back on the water. Will 100% be checking availability of this place anytime I am heading back down to the middle keys for some fly fishing. Additionally will probably look into taking both sides of the house should I be going back down with the wife and kiddos instead of the buds. If you are looking for your own little slice of the Keys, this is the spot!
