Danny & Jacky Lawler both live in the United States. Jacky was born and raised on the very popular island, Samal Island (aka, Island Garden City of Samal) and we purchased this home to spend time at while when we visit family there on the island. This home was one of the most modern homes that we could find that had almost all of the comforts and conveniences that we have in the United States like hot showers, WIFI, satellite TV, and most importantly, air conditioning throughout the home - not just in the bedroom.

Most importantly, it's air conditioned throughout! Not just the bedrooms! It has hot water in both showers! We have a real gas stove and a real gas oven! We utilize a fairly reliable point to point internet system so WIFI is fairly reliable, which is rare on the island of Samal. We also added water storage tanks and pumps to cover us when the community water shuts down. Life in the Philippines is not always perfect. But these were very important to us when we purchased this home.
