Welcome to Casa Solana Cottage, a pet-friendly, citrus-hued retreat in the heart of Santa Fe that comfortably sleeps 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This sun-drenched home welcomes up to two of your four-legged friends and is located just a quarter-mile from the Frank S. Ortiz Dog Park.

Featuring lush foliage, plentiful windows, and a large backyard, the cottage offers a bright and airy atmosphere. Inside, the main living space includes a plush sectional, stone fireplace, and wall-mounted HDTV, while a secondary living area with bay windows provides a quiet nook for reading. Two dedicated writing desks and complimentary Wi-Fi ensure a convenient setup for those balancing work and play.

The beautifully updated kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, abundant counter space, and a full suite of gadgets for home-cooked meals. You can stock up on supplies at the nearby Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods and enjoy your dinner in the formal dining room or dine al fresco in the private backyard. Many nearby businesses and restaurants are also pet-friendly, making it easy to explore the city with your companions. The sleeping arrangements are designed for ultimate rest. The primary suite features a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, dual closets, and a modern en suite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed, while a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room accommodates two additional guests. A second full bathroom with a shower/tub ensures everyone has plenty of space to prepare for the day.

Perfect accommodation

We had a great stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean, great location. The house was very well appointed and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

Short Santa Fe trip

This house is great! Had everything we needed and very spacious. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Beds were comfortable and love the sectional in the living room.

Super clean property, slept 8, great kitchen, washer dryer available. The living room and deck are also really nice. Wifi is great and the rooms have TV’s. Nice bathrooms and linens. Perfect stay, wouldn’t add a thing.

Great house in a nice neighborhood

We loved our stay here. The house itself was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 4 and dog. We enjoyed all parts to it - the bedrooms were nice, family room had a comfy couch, kitchen was big enough, and there was lots of light in the dining room and kitchen. It was nice to have a fenced backyard. The yard itself isn't great for throwing a ball to a dog or the dog running around, but at least our dog could go out there to use the bathroom. The only negative was having to pick up and drop off keys elsewhere. We stay at a lot of vrbos and that is not something you see anymore, most just have keypads. We would stay there again.

Nice spot close to Santa Fe activities

Well appointed house within walking distance of a lot of activities. We were a party of 4 with 2 dogs and had plenty of space. Neighborhood was very walkable and the park down the street lead directly to railyard/downtown. Super convenient and nice. The house was well appointed with everything that we needed for cooking and sleeping. Beds were ok. The guest bedroom mattress was ok, not great. It sinks in the middle so two people sharing that bed wasn't ideal. All mattresses and pillows could use covers. A/C and heat both worked well and backyard was nice. Although a tad small, the electric grill in back worked well. In sum - it was a great place to spend a couple weeks in Santa Fe.

Quiet and Clean

This is a nicely renovated older home. The area is quiet and there's a lovely park just down the street. My only complaint is the AC situation. There is central air but there was a large stand alone unit in the master bedroom that was very loud. I turned it off while I was there, but my daughter stayed in the back bedroom and it was too hot for her. We had to buy a fan. Suggest another mini-split in that room or something.

Great base to explore Santa Fe. Pet friendly

4.5 Stars, nice house overall, fenced front and back for pets. Quiet neighbors but some messy and run down looking homes. Good floorplan for 3-4 adults. Dining and living rooms are great. Smart TVs and good wifi/internet. Fully furnished kitchen and laundry. Neighborhood is walkable to a park with paths to downtown and grocery. 2mi/5min drive to central plaza with shopping and tourist activities. Easy check in/out process at renters office even after hours. They are quick to respond to messages too! Only negatives I can think of are some kitchen items/coffee maker needed a cleaning to be used, and the back yard weeds were pretty overgrown. Didn't affect the overall enjoyment of the property. One odd thing was the house does not have any Address numbers on the front, only at the curb? Doordash driver was confused ;-) We would love to stay again and continue to enjoy what Santa Fe has to offer!

Good choice for us and our dog

We were not visiting Santa Fe as tourists, but rather for a workshop. The house fit our needs well, as we wanted to bring along our dog for the long weekend. For others visiting to sightsee, it is a mile to Guadalupe, the start of downtown, along a nice walking path. We walked part of that, and also through the neighborhood. It's also not far to the Santa Fe airport. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The beds were comfortable and the sheets felt good. In general, the lighting throughout was dim. It seemed odd that there was no backyard light. There was a note to only leave it on for a few minutes, or a neighbor would complain--but we couldn't get it to light up at all, although there seemed to be a bulb in the socket. For safety's sake, we suggested that a plugin flashlight be positioned somewhere obvious near the sliding glass back door. Otherwise it's very hard to see your dog in the yard at night. The fence was adequate, but some dogs could probably figure out how to escape, especially at the gates. We would rent the house again, if we were to return to Santa Fe.
