Gig's Place - Raystown Lake

Gigi’s Place | A Designer Cottage in the Woods

Hidden among the trees just minutes from Raystown Lake, Gigi’s Place is where high-end design meets peaceful nature. This is not just a place to stay. It is a place to exhale.

Every inch of this home has been thoughtfully styled with luxury finishes, beautiful décor, and soft, welcoming textures that make it feel more like a private boutique retreat than a rental. The moment you step inside, soaring vaulted ceilings and forest-facing windows fill the home with natural light, creating a calm, airy atmosphere that feels both elegant and cozy.

The main living space flows effortlessly into a fully equipped kitchen with generous counter space, perfect for gathering over morning coffee or preparing a family-style dinner. Just beyond, a formal dining room adds a touch of refinement for evenings that deserve a little extra polish.

The main-floor primary suite is a sanctuary of its own, featuring vaulted ceilings, a spacious layout, and a private en-suite bathroom with double sinks. Upstairs, two charming bedrooms and a full bath offer quiet, comfortable spaces for guests to unwind.

The lower level expands your living space with newly finished interiors, a kitchenette, a cozy sitting area, sleeping accommodations for two, and a beautifully appointed full bathroom. It is perfect for extended family, teens, or anyone who appreciates a little extra privacy.

Outside, the wooded surroundings bring peace and privacy, while boat parking and quick access to the Shy Beaver Boat Launch make it easy to head straight for the water.

Gigi’s Place offers something rare.
The elegance of a designer home.
The comfort of a cozy cottage.
And the serenity of the forest.

Beautiful house and very comfortable accommodations! FYI location of bathrooms was a little odd. I would ask about them before booking.

S’mores at night

Upscale decor and well stocked. Quite and peaceful location but the road was rough. Great bedroom arrangements with 1 king master en-suite, 1 queen room,1 bunk room and second bathroom plus a separate small complete unit downstairs w/pull-out couch, kitchenette and full bath. A second TV and towel racks would be nice additions

Aunt Susie’s Vacation Rentals was built on a simple idea: people deserve a place that feels like home, not just somewhere to sleep.
What started as one family getaway near Raystown Lake has grown into a carefully managed collection of cabins, chalets, and lake homes throughout the region. Along the way, we learned that great stays don’t happen by accident. They happen when details matter, communication is clear, and guests know someone has their back before, during, and after their stay.
We’re a hands-on, locally based team. That means we know the roads, the seasons, the weather, and the little things that make a big difference. From professionally cleaned homes and reliable maintenance to clear instructions and fast responses, our goal is to remove stress so you can focus on enjoying your time together.
Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a family reunion, a tournament, or a week on the lake, we want your stay to be easy, comfortable, and memorable for all the right reasons.
Thanks for choosing Aunt Susie’s. We’re proud to host you and grateful you’re here.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The Story Behind Aunt Susie’s HomesAunt Susie’s was never about buying houses. It was about creating places where memories could land and stay. Susie was the kind of person who always had the door open. Family, friends, and neighbors always had a seat at the table and a place to sleep. Her home wasn’t fancy, but it was full of warmth, laughter, and people who felt welcome. When she passed, she left behind something powerful. A reminder that the best moments happen when people slow down, come together, and feel like they belong. That is how Aunt Susie’s began. We didn’t set out to buy “rental properties.” We looked for places that felt like a deep breath. Homes with porches for morning coffee, fire pits for late-night stories, quiet woods, lake views, and space for families to reconnect. Each Aunt Susie’s home is chosen because it has something special. Something peaceful. Something that makes you pause and smile. We carefully restore and upgrade every home so it feels welcoming, comfortable, and cared for. From cozy beds and clean kitchens to fireplaces, grills, and thoughtful touches, we design each space as if Susie herself were inviting you in. Because in a way, she is. When you stay at an Aunt Susie’s home, you are not just booking a place to sleep. You are stepping into a space built for rest, connection, laughter, and memories. That is why we bought these homes.
That is why we take care of them. And that is why guests come back again and again. Welcome to Aunt Susie’s. Where every stay feels like coming home.
