Welcome to Polu, a Hawaiian word for the color blue. Located in the historic district of South Park, Dayton, built in the 1800s. You will be greeted by the tall ceilings and some of the beautiful original preserved architectural features of the home. This home has been beautifully renovated and elegantly decorated with comfort and luxury in mind. Centrally located near the University of Dayton, Miami Valley Hospital, and Oregon District where you will find great restaurants and local shops.

Older neighborhood in Dayton, but safe with street parking. House was clean, kitchen and 2 baths were completely renovated with new fixtures, appliances, flooring and furniture. Hvac was great although new thermostst was a challenge for a senior. Coffee shop teo blocks away, try it.

Charming Historical Home

The property was spacious, comfortable, neat and tidy. Appreciated the ample supply of towels and coffee. However, we noticed the last three treads of the stairsteps are in need of repair and suggest that the property owner give this matter some attention. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. It is a lovely home.

Great experience!

Our group had a great experience at the property! Was VERY clean and plenty of room. Parking was noProblem and UD arena was only a short drive away. We will definitely be staying at this property again when we are in the area!

Older home recently updated. Little strange floorplan. One bathroom ensuite upstairs where all bedrooms are, and second bathroom off the kitchen. Owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Comfortable and quiet neighborhood.

Very close to University of Dayton, with on street parking. The house was clean and beautifully decorated as pictured. The kitchen appliances were new and high end. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and updated. The perfect spot to bring your family and friends for a stay in Dayton

One of Our Best VRBO Experiences

This place is exceptional. Great communication from the host. Finally, a place that doesn’t have you do a lot of work for check-out! Beautiful, convenient location close to restaurants, pubs, and shopping. The neighborhood has so much character, making it fun to walk around the see the varying architecture. The house was clean with great linens, organized utensils, and all the basic supplies needed to make for an effortless stay. My 70-year-old parents stayed with us, and they were just as pleased with the experience.

Great VRBO experience!

Aaron, the property host, is readily available to answer questions and willing to accommodate reasonable requests. We would not hesitate to book his property again. The property is as described, no surprises. It is an older home, nicely updated, close to activities. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are steep and could be an issue for very elderly or someone with mobility issues but for the average person, no problem. There are 3, large, comfortable bedrooms, all on second floor. Only one has an en suite bathroom. The 2nd bathroom is on main floor off the kitchen. It is a beautifully renovated full bathroom with shower. Lovely main floor with huge kitchen. We highly recommend this property!

Lovely Home

A beautiful old home that has been renovated with great care! I haven’t slept better in a long time while traveling. The house was very clean and cozy! Very convenient location in an up and coming neighborhood. We hope to stay here again when visiting family.
