We stayed here for two weeks and had a great experience. The property is clean, comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for ten days and picked this Vrbo for the location to downtown Royal Oak (easy walk to Main Street) and a quick drive to midtown Detroit. We had plenty of room to spread out and having a private driveway was a plus. The price for our long stay was affordable and our host made sure we knew he was available. Will book his properties again.

We stayed for a concert which made for a great location. We walked for dinner, the concert, and coffee the next day. Rooms were clean and looked like the listing.

The host was very communicative. The place was nice and clean. We found the beds to be comfortable as well. A wonderful little neighborhood very walkable throughout the Royal Oak community. We appreciated it very much.

This Vrbo is exactly as represented. Mario was a communicative but not invasive host. The area was lovely and safe! I’d stay here again without hesitation!

Very clean home close to cute shops in downtown Royal Oak. The host was great to communicate with and very accommodating when we needed an early check-in.

Cute duplex easy walking distance from downtown Royal Oak. Had an unfortunate experience where the staircase railing was coming out of the wall. The railing was mounted with drywall anchors, not to a stud. As the bedrooms and bathroom are all upstairs, this was a significant safety item that prevented us completing our stay here. Host was initially communicative but dropped off once I made it clear the railing issue was a non-starter for us to be able to stay here and I expected a full refund. Only heard back from the host after I contacted VRBO directly the next day and provided pictures of the safety issue.

Very unfortunate to see your two star review. You didn't reach out about the issue until a day after your check in, we couldn't accommodate our handy guy out immediately as you requested on a weekend, and when we agreed immediately to refund the funds for your entire stay (a full day after your check in), you contacted VRBO and we responded agreeing to the full refund (which you received). Not sure what the issue was with communication but again sad to see your review based on such a minor detail that we addressed.

The house is charming and was perfect for my work travels. It is close enough to walk to the many great restaurants in the area. Host was pleasant and great to work with!
