Discover the perfect ocean getaway at Islander on the Beach, a 6.5-acre oceanfront resort with stunning tropical landscaping. Soak up the sun at the beachside pool, hot tub, tiki bar, and grilling area after fun-filled days on the shore. A few paces from the beach, your condo is also within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace. You’ll love the easy access to the entire island from the desirable East Coast location!

Located in the Lobby Building, your ground-floor studio condo is filled with thoughtful touches. Enjoy morning coffee on your private lanai, with a view of the ocean and lush tropical gardens (the lanai is four feet above ground). Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, complimentary WiFi, TV, and a walk-in shower.

This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful place with great amenities!

Absolutely loved the patio and easy access to the pool, hot tub, poolside bar, and the beach. We even got to see some monk seals on the beach :) Room was clean with a lovely welcome basket and plenty of beach towels!

Quiet and relaxing

Upon arrival we enjoyed a box of chocolates, coconut cookies and a couple packs of island coffee. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean. Added plus there is a towel service and plenty of towels and beach towels for the whole week. Sitting out on the patio in the evening looking out over the gardens and even the ocean in the distance was very relaxing.

Such a nice spot with everything we needed. Not big — it’s a studio, wouldn’t work if you wanted to cook a bunch— but has a frig, coffee maker (not Keurig, thank you!), microwave, toaster. Loved that the grocery store was really close, and restaurants. Very walkable, quiet place. The lanai is nice but it doesn’t open directly onto the lawn. The ocean is visible if you stand up and look through the trees. Lovely landscaping. Thoughtful touches like beach towels and chairs and lots of storage space.

Cute studio in Kapa'a

We loved the resort where this condo was located. We spent every evening sitting in the lounge chairs provided to watch the sunset oceanside. This particular studio, while lovely, was a bit cramped for us, after having stayed in a more spacious 2 bedroom right before this stay, especially because there were 2 beds in the space and we really only needed one. Pay attention to the high fees associated with this rental - I'm not sure how I didn't notice while booking, but we ended up spending more than twice as much as the "per night" rate because of all the fees and taxes!

Kaua’i stay

Could not get tv to work. Called three times and no results. On third day finally had a guy show up to fix problem. So 3 days could not use it and relax in evening.? I would appreciate compensation on my charges as have never had this happen before and the long response time

Nice place to stay.

Perfect place to come “home” to.

Felt like I was staying at a friend’s lake house in a studio apartment size. They have everything you need including beach chairs and beach towels. I had a slight scare with our code to the room (my phone was in the room with the code), but I went to vacasa’s website, found the emergency line and was able to get back in the room, no problem. Thanks for the perfect end to our honeymoon.

Comfortable stay

Our room was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was adequate to prepare fresh fruit or takeout but being near restaurants made preparing full meals unnecessary. Beach/pool equipment was appreciated but not used. The welcome goodies were a surprise. Thank you! Free/easy parking was a plus as was the ease in contacting management.

Pretty good.

We had a little difficulty at first because of the room`s relationship to the larger facility which is managed by Aston. The front desk staff could not give us clear directions to the room which, it turned out, was really close by. Also, the room is disabled accessible but resulted in quite a bit of water running out of the bath into the larger room the first time we used the shower. Couldnt be happier

Not like the pictures

Too small, dirty and outdated. State for one hour and decided to get another hotel after checking the beds. Not happy at all about having to spend another $800 for a different hotel in order to get a peaceful night`s sleep in a clean room. Put a damper on wife`s birthday big time! Zero Stars if we could! 2 Week Vacation on Kauai

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The room was just what we wanted with a nice lanai and kitchenette. It was very close to the beach, the pool the Jacuzzi and a bar that had a happy hour. It was also close to many restaurants and bars including some with good happy hours. We did not even need to get in the car to have a drink or eat on many occasions. We were just able to walk there and walk home. It was also close to a nice beach that had good snorkeling. The location was extremely convenient for sightseeing in our car around the island. Nice condo in a great location

The property grounds were beautiful and well-maintained, very close to the beach. We had a nice view from our outside patio. The condo itself was clean, and had all the appliances we needed--fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and a sink.The only negative comment would be regarding the safety box which was out of order due to lack of batteries. Islander by the Beach

I loved our stay here. The only problem was I did receive an email with the code to access our key from the lockbox. After contacting the customer service # they called and gave me the code. The lock box was poor quality. The property and the room were clean. I would stay here again. Thank you. Perfect stay in Kauai

Excellent property. Clean and beautiful grounds right on the beach. People are friendly and very helpful. The unit rented was clean and perfect for our vacation, pre-stocked with beach chairs, towels, all you need to spend time at the beach. Location is perfect for island touring from north shore over to the south and far west side of the island to see the canyon. Beachfront stay in a tired room

We were excited to stay here, with the location and pictures showing a clean room. Unfortunately there was black mold found and musky smell. Seems like this room needs a deep cleaning. The location of this hotel will bring people in every time but just a little more effort in cleaning is a must!
