Fin Do Mundo is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom coastal bungalow perfect for your next vacation! Golf cart accessible to the beach or town, this island home is just a short distance from just about everything Port Aransas has to offer. Outdoor living space is what Fin Do Mundo is all about, with plenty of deck space for catching the island breezes and taking a shady nap. There is a screened-in gazebo with ceiling fans to complete that true island feel. Put up your feet and pull out a good book for leisurely reading. A large charcoal grill is available for barbecuing your fresh catch of the day.

Once you step inside this open and bright home, you’ll know you picked the perfect vacation home! The kitchen offers two full-size refrigerators, plenty of cabinet space and comes equipped with all of your kitchen essentials to cook gourmet meals. The breakfast bar seats four and the dining table seats an additional four guests. The living room is a cozy place to stop and rest or to gather around to watch your favorite TV shows.

The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed with a flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-tub combo. The second bedroom is a custom bunkroom with a twin-over-queen-size bunk bed as well as a twin-over-full-size bunk bed. A twin-size day bed is available in the air-conditioned back porch area, offering plenty of sleeping arrangements for your guests.

Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, pet friendly, charcoal grill, parking for four vehicles and Silver Sands concierge service.

The property had plenty of room for my family and I, with all of us finding a room and bed to suit each of us perfectly. Beds were comfy, air conditioning worked really well, smart TVs in every room. I appreciated the kitchen size as I had to assemble a wedding cake. The thing we all noticed and didn't appreciate was the obvious lack of detailed cleaning everywhere we looked. Thick dust layers on furniture, large dust bunnies behind every door, and I almost threw up when i had to look under our bed for a dog toy, the grime was startling. The "clean" dishes were dirty, the drawers had crumbs of some sort in them, the showers were grimy. It was a very disappointing aspect of an otherwise great place.

Overall it was a fantastic experience! We really enjoyed it and would stay here again without hesitation! The only gripes we really had was that the floor was very dirty and needed to be well cleaned, and the way the electricity worked in the bedroom with the bunk beds was a little weird and not totally functional. Otherwise it was fantastic. Enough blankets and pillows, the kitchen had everything we needed in it and was clearly labeled, two fridges was fantastic, and we had a great time sitting out on the screened porch. Absolutely would stay again, hope it's available next year we want to make the trip annual.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient to get to the beach, restaurants and shops. The place was not cleaned when we checked in but was quickly attended to once housekeeping was notified. Needs a little love in the outdoor patio area.

Warm, cozy, and truly a home away from home! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed, and communication was smooth with an easy check-in process. A wonderful, family- and pet-friendly stay!

A/C wasn’t working well when we arrived. Turns out the filter was filthy. Once WE changed it, it was a bit better but front of house was still warm while back of house was frigid. Also didn’t help the ceiling fan for living room was in the bedroom closet with nothing but a gaping hole in the ceilingScreened in patio was a joke. Screens didn’t fit right so room was full of bugsAlso no pot holders. Had to use dish towel to get hot pans from oven

Family Vacay

This our second time staying at this property and we have thoroughly enjoyed both stays! The enclosed back yard is a big plus for our dogs and we loved sitting outside in the screened porch. The only thing we have noticed from both stays is the parking is listed for 4 vehicles but if you have a bigger truck that is not the case. We very tightly fit our truck and two small cars, but the bush on the side of the drive way needs to be cut as it takes up a lot of space and scratches the vehicles. Other than the parking being a big tricky, we love staying here and will for sure book here again!!

Overall a good place to stay.

The house was nicely decorated, beds and furniture were comfortable. I think it could have been cleaned better. There was still a lot of sand under the couch and on the tables next to the bunk beds, which caused there to be sand in the bed.

Great location, do not trust listing, it’s in need of attention!

Although the home was in a great location and has potential if it was kept clean and maintained, we would not rent this home again. First day dealt with AC trying to keep up with cooling the home and the back room ceiling fan not working. It’s the only room in the house without AC. We had to contact the rental company for box fans. Also dealt with a roach problem (including in the beds in the smaller room and very dirty bedding. The outdoor seating area was unusable due to a short in the electrical outlet. Another issue we found when trying to use the space. Beware of the backyard if bringing pups. Full of stickers! The response time from owner/rental agency was ok. But definitely no sense of urgency to satisfy their guests. My daughter had to sleep without a blanket the night we discovered a disgusting comforter on her bed. They did come get it the next day and laundered and returned it.This property has potential if a little TLC and elbow grease are put into it. Broken faucets, the flooring is popping up and broken, the closet doors in the master bedroom are falling apart, the cabinets in the kitchen either don’t close or are falling apart. Limited amenities, no extra towels or blankets. Etc….

Birthday Stay

Nicely equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The kids loved the bunk room and the screened in porch. Could use a handyman to come in and fix cabinets, fill and paint wall nicks, and securely hang hooks in bathrooms. The hardwood could be beautiful if it was redone. Quite, comfortable stay.

Excellent just minus some things that could have been included

We absolutely loved the house. The problem that we had with it were they didn’t even leave one coffee filter per day with the coffee maker that they provided, There were no laundry pods to do a load of wash (But there were pods to do dishes), and they didn’t even have salt and pepper for eggs in the morning. For the price you pay for the house I would expect these items as I’ve had them at other homes for less money. Great parking, comfortable beds, awesome screened in back patio great overall experience, just wish there was more attention to the necessities.

First we didnt receive the email for codes to get in until next morning so we had to call the office at 5:05. A woman called back and gave us several codes always saying to me I was putting in too many numbers. They sent a man out and got us right in. The back yard was full of grass seeds we kept combing out of our dogs but since they couldn't stay out by themselves because the fence was falling apart it wasn't too bad. I mean I had to dig out pavers and prop them against the fence to hold up the fence and to fill dog sized holes. If you want pictures I can send them.

We couldnt get in at first because we hadnt received the email with codes. But it worked out. We brought our dogs so we checked out the fenced yard and was dismayed at how fence was coming apart. I used quite a few pavers to stop up holes. Had to brush the dogs a lot to keep the grass seeds out of their coats. Men came and mowed the front but did nothing about the grass or rag weeds in back.

Needs a deep cleaning and parking is not accurate

Roaches all over, dead and alive. Advertised parking for 4 vehicles. No way. Couldn’t even pull 3 small vehicles and no parking legally on the road. Code didn’t work upon entry had to call after hour service. Left message about parking with no response so called next day and they acknowledged advertising wrong and offered us to park vehicles at their facility, far away, and have someone pick us up. Behind Trash can there was a capri sun container, chairs all had dog hair, floor had dirt. Not clean at all. 2 trash bags for 4 day stay.

Peaceful, Comfortable, Convenient

Everything worked fine, enjoy the quiet neighborhood close to beach and easy to quickly get to restaurants or stores. Laundry and extra refrigerator, spacious bedrooms and living areas all are a plus, along with the fun decor throughout the property. Very comfortable beds.

Fin Do Mundo

This house is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked and the cabinets are even labeled. It has a nice fenced backyard and a doggie door. It has hoses to rinse the sand off when you return from the beach. I would have liked to rate this home more highly, however, there is some basic maintenance that should be done. The grill in the backyard is so rusted out on the bottom that the charcoals fall through to the ground. The ash bucket was completely full from previous occupants' cookouts. There is no wastebasket in the master bathroom. The screening on the covered cabana out back is ripped and the electricity to the cabana doesn't work so you can't use the lights or ceiling fan. The debris that falls from the palm trees in the backyard makes the outdoor table and chairs unusable--the back deck and furniture should be powerwashed.

This was the cutest home that we have ever stayed in on the island. Silver Sands is a top- notch rental company. They are very responsive, which is the complete opposite of the Port Aransas Beach House Company, and we will continue to use them in the future.

Great Beach House

Another Winning Stay!

I've taken a summer vacation with my family for at least the last 10-years through Silver Sands Vacation Rentals in Port Aransas, TX. The condos and homes that we've stayed in are always better than described with wonderful amenities and clean units. Always a perfect 10 with Silver Sands Vacation Rentals!
