New for 2026:
Reservations for the 2026 Traverse City Horse Shows (June-September) and other long term guests will begin in January 2026. Due to restrictions on short term rentals in Whitewater Township, all rentals will be for 30 nights or longer. 30+ night rentals will enjoy 25% off 2025 rates, 45+ night rentals are 30% off 2025 rates, and 60+ night rentals are 35% off 2025 rates. Large but Cozy cottage with gas fireplace that heats the place up. Bring your whole family or two. It boasts 2 king bedrooms. One on main floor and one on the second floor. 2 bunk rooms, one on first floor and the second, and another twin bedroom on the second floor.
Enjoy relaxing in the stand alone soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom. Downstairs has large walk-in shower.
Relax in the outdoor 7 person hot tub! Overlooks a fire pit out back too!
The large kitchen is gathering friendly. And there’s a dining room as well.
Cool theater popcorn machine, and 100’s of movies to watch on the Blue ray DVD player.
Dozens of books and board games.

Perfect for a multi-family stay

We fit 3 families with two kids each into the house comfortably. Plently of room for all. The hot tub was great and we made use of the fire pit as well. Overall great stay!

An adorable home for our family gathering

This charming home provided the perfect setting for our family holiday. All of the family members enjoyed comfortable beds and relaxing seating throughout. The host accommodated our group of 12 for meals and was very accessible. I highly recommend this host and property.

Celebrated my birthday with a group of friends. Great cozy place. Rebecca is very responsive and even stopped by when we couldn't figure out the hotub.

Very cute and clean. Perfect for a little getaway and close to traverse city if you are planning on going. One of the group is already trying to figure out when she can come back out!

A lovely weekend

The cottage was perfect for our girls reunion and getaway. So comfortable and cozy with the little gas wood stove and hot tub. Perfect for lounging and relaxing. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely return here again.

Great house

We loved our stay. This house is wonderfully appointed. There are many thoughtful touches. There is a main floor master, which is good. The stairs going up are a little steep and would be difficult for anyone with challenges. We would definitely stay here again.

Up North Cottage Personified

Great cottage that was well appointed with many amenities (towels, toilet paper, coffee, detergent) as well as several surprise and delights (popcorn maker, s'more sticks for fire pit, corn hole boards). Hot tub was a hit and backyard dining outside on deck was a plus. Great location to TC, the dunes, beaches, and horse show. Owner was easy to communicate with and ensured quality stay. Recommend.

ABOVE and BEYOND

Where to start…… Honestly this was the BEST experience I have ever had! The host went to great lengths to make this cottage welcoming and feel like a home away from home. COUNTLESS personal touches from soft mood music and soft lighting welcoming us as we opened the door, to the warm glowing of pumpkin ceramic decorations, to throw blankets perfectly placed exactly where you’d want them when snuggling up on the super comfy coach. The huge and thoughtfully purchased popcorn seasoning for the theater popcorn maker (that was HUGE hit) the back yard views and ambience with glowing Edison lights and welcoming fireplace with awesome Adirondack chairs in the shape of Michigan and end tables in the shape of the upper peninsula to match. The extremely clean and well taken care of hot tub with twinkling ligh above on the Pergola. The deck furniture and adequate seating for plenty of places to congregate and hang out and chat. The EXTREMELY comfortable mattresses even in the twin bunks, honestly, we all agreed we have never slept more comfortably even in our own beds lol. You can tell the host loves what she does and puts SO MUCH time and thought into making this place welcoming and comfortable! We came with a big group of ladies and each and EVERY raved about it and slept SO comfortably and cozy. The communication with the host was great and she truly did an amazing job helping our stay to be relaxing and everything we were hoping for. We ALL agreed we will be back

Now I’m fortunate to manage properties for others. I’m so happy to offer property in Honor near Sleeping Bear Dunes, and on Platt lake, and also in Williamsburg near the equestrian festival.
