Our home is a place of warmth, gathering, love and adventure for our family and we want to share that experience with you.
The open floor plan boasts a large dining table area overlooking a cozy sunken firepit and grand high-ceilinged, wood-beamed livingroom. The extended living areas include large decks in both the front and back of the house. Seating, umbrellas and tables invite you to enjoy the beautiful fresh outside weather and forest views. Take a short stroll to gorgeous Lake Tahoe views. Hiking and biking trails are nearby in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. Centrally located between 2 world renowned ski resorts: Northstar California Resort and Palisades Tahoe (formally Squaw Valley). Beautiful finishing touches throughout the house. Nice blend of space to spend time together and comfortable retreats for cozy alone time to relax, reflect or read.
Home includes level 2 charging outlet (240 volt) for your EV!

Jim and Kathleen were wonderful hosts and made our stay truly enjoyable. They were very friendly, easy to reach by phone or text, and handled any questions or concerns right away.When my son mentioned that his attic room did not feel warm enough, Jim immediately took action and delivered a portable heater the very next day, which made a big difference in his comfort. Their kindness, responsiveness, and great attitude really stood out during our stay.The location is beautiful, with stunning views all around the house that made us feel like we were in a Winter Wonderland. Grocery shopping was also very convenient, with a Safeway in Kings Beach only about 7 minutes away, which made it easy to pick up anything we needed. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay at this house again. Thank you so much, Jim and Kathleen, for everything and for making our trip so memorable!

Lovely home

Spacious Mountain home, fully stocked kitchen, great location. Upstairs loft room did get quite warm at night . Good communication with host when reaching out about extra supplies.

Great little cabin, very conducive to group hangouts and a good vibe. Loved the nature all around, and access to hikes and beaches nearby. Would recommend!

Weekend at Lake Tahoe

This home was perfect for our family vacation! It is in a nice neighborhood very close to the lake and surrounded by beautiful, enormous trees. The cozy sitting areas, porches, grill, fireplace, comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, etc (I could go on and on) made for a very relaxing stay. Lots of great hiking and mountain bike riding nearby. The beautiful summer wildflowers and unexpected snow added to the gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe on our hikes! Who knew we would enjoy hot chocolate and a fireplace in June!

Perfect stay for a friends trip!

Cathleen is an amazing and super responsive host. Her place was the perfect size for our group of 9. Plus it was a mere 10 minute drive to Northstar, so you can't really beat that. There aren't many places in Tahoe available to rent with 4 bedrooms and parking space for 4 cars, so we really appreciate Cathleen being able to host us. We'd love to stay here again, highly recommend!!

Beautiful home! Close to Northstar.

We had an amazing time in this home!!! We went with friends and family to ski and this was incredibly convenient - close to Safeway, Northstar, and in a quiet residential area. The home was stocked with everything needed and more. No complaints at all! Our favorite thing was the conversation area in front of the fireplace. Just lovely!

Felt like home

Location is central to everything. The house is roomy and well furnished. Clean linen, plenty of towels and everything you need for the beach. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need and more to make you feel as if you are home. Garage has all the toys, coolers, chairs, floats… to make your beach excursions a delight. I can go on and on,but honestly it was just perfect and exceeded our expectations in all aspects!! Thank you!

Great Tahoe Get Away

This home was perfect for our family and friends for a long weekend summer get away. The house was set up well with a common area for games and relaxing as well as privacy in the many bedrooms. The wifi/iinternet worked great for a day of virtual work. Host was very accommodating and communicative.

Birthday weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is so comfortable, clean, fully stocked and location is great- close to restaurants and the lake. The property manager was extremely helpful and available for some questions we had. We loved it and will for sure go back and will recommend it to others!

Perfect house for a family escape

Love this place! The location in Kings Beach is great...close to 267 but tucked away in an amazing neighborhood that sits above Carnelian Bay (you can hike down to Garwoods!). The pictures represent the home really well and, to me, it's what Tahoe is all about. The entire house is cozy, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and clearly the family loves to cook as they have what you need to make great meals at home. I really like the sunken den which is perfect for a family game of cards by the fire. There are amazing, large windows above the den which afford amazing natural light and a great view out into the forested yard. The bedrooms are perfectly cozy and the bathrooms are clean. It's a great neighborhood for a stroll with amazing views down to the lake just a block or two away and some nice trails to explore as well. This place is awesome and we look forward to coming back!

Memorable weekend in Tahoe Vista

Our stay at your lovely Tahoe Vista home was nothing short of fantastic. The house was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. The cozy living spaces were beautifully decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed spending evenings by the fireplace. The home had all the amenities we needed. The property owner was very responsive. Overall, our weekend was exceptional. We look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy Lake Tahoe and your beautiful home.

Amazing from start to finish!

Wow! Stunning property ! As a long time VRBO renter rarely are the pictures and description less wonderful than the actual place but here, wow! Fast response from the owners to a question I had during my stay and the place was pristine! Super quiet and well stocked for anything. We cooked several meals and they had everything we needed. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

A Tahoe Gem!

I will definitely rent this house again! It was so clean with new appliances and new carpet. I like the cozy feeling in all the rooms. The beds were all super comfortable and plenty of linens and towels for us to use. Our friends loved it as well. We would love to return to this house in this summer to enjoy all Tahoe has to offer when the weather is warmer.

Super relaxing cabin

This house is a gem. It has tons of space for many people to relax, so we’ll bring friends next time. The fireplace is in a nice step down nook. Was great reading my papers and looking out the big window at the back yard forest area. I watched tv in front of the fire too. The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line pots and pans and utensils. My wife and I cooked and watched the fire and tv at the same time. The one car garage was ez to use, nice to carry bags straight into the house. The cabin has a nice vibe. We walked to the cul de sac for a nice view of the lake. Carl
