Fantastic location

This cabin is perfect for a family get-a-away in the Franklin/Highlands area. The waterfall on the property is just the icing on the cake. Can't wait to return!

The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice!!! It is so cute and in a great location

Located near several great waterfalls and near Franklin and Highlands. We drove over to Hendersonville for apples. Love this location!!!! Within an hour to so many wonderful mountain areas!!!!

Mountain home delight

What a lovely place in the mountains! The home is charming and so convenient to Franklin and Highlands and many beautiful waterfalls. We loved sitting on the rocking chairs and watching the sunsets.

Great retreat to the mountains

Perfect location in the mountains for a getaway. Location was great with no road noise and the waterfall was perfect to listen to while sitting by the fire pit. House had everything we wanted. Would come back again without question.

Cozy Cabin

Warm, cozy, comfortable, homey, peaceful and the list goes on. This beautiful place we called home for over a week had everything you could ask for. Definitely a place we want to make our yearly family vacation! Perfect in every way!

Wonderful mountain getaway

This cabin has everything you could want in a trip to the mountains of NC. Private, yet convenient to town and trails. It is a well equipped historic family cabin, and was decorated for Christmas! Tricia is so nice to deal with. It’s a wonderful place to stay.

Peaceful Cabin and Waterfalls

Everything you need for a wonderful week of relaxing. Porches all around cabin with breath taking views from the front porch. Very cozy, comfortable cabin and quiet area. Not to far from Smokey Mountains. Our second time here.

Just Right

Very happy with the property, loved access without having to go in town to a real estate office. Everything we needed,clean and comfortable. Parking a big bonus. Highly recommend it.

Quiet, relaxing retreat!

Nice place to enjoy the mountains, the Highlands, the waterfalls, and to be able to sit back and enjoy the sounds of nature in the mornings on the side porch with a cup of tea, and to be able to rock on the front porch and read while enjoying the cool mountain breezes and take in the views. Loved relaxing on the porch at night and listening to the night sounds as well.

Rock and Mineral Ahow

Three of us came to attend the rock show and buy for our store. The house was perfect, less than 10 mins from the show and right off a state highway. Beautiful Mountain view with my coffee every morning sitting in a rocker on the deck. Great place !!

Cozy Cabin

Great Cabin set in a very central location. My family had a Great time and enjoyed every minute. Simple to find and Cabin had everything we were looking for. Easy and smooth dealing with owner and VRBO. We highly recommend this location and we can't wait to return. The nearby city of Highlands is just wonderful. We are making plans for our next trip in the fall. A+ A+ A+ We Will Be Back Soon...

Cozy Cabin

Excellent location. Easy access. Parking for at least 3 vehicles. 10 minutes from shopping and downtown Franklin. 12 miles or 25 minutes to Highlands. Home is very well equipped with everything you need. We would definately stay there again. Beautiful location. Internet is spotty which is typical in the mountians.

Nice Stay in Franklin NC

The “Cozy Cabin” is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the Franklin NC area. The cabin is well furnished and clean. The kitchen has virtually every type of dish, pot, pan and cooking utensil needed. The pantry is bountifully stocked with all necessary condiments as well as additional surprises. The host is easy and pleasant to deal with. We heartily recommend.

We took a couple of side trips to Dillard (zip lining) and to Cherokee (tubing) and the cabin was great to access both things. The night temperatures were in the 60s so it was great rocking in the porch at night. Thanks !

Close to Heaven !

You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner more well appointed cabin. The cabin was spotless , as well as the porches and decks. Every inch of this cabin met every need and expectation. Half way between Franklin and Highlands ,,the location is convenient , but Uber private. Really enjoyed watching the humming birds from the front porch ,, they are constantly present between the many feeders and the wild flowers across the street.

So CLEAN!! Great location

We stay at VRBO properties multiple times a year and I was honestly amazed at how clean this property was. I could not FIND anything that was not sparkling clean. Not even dust! The location is great & convenient to both Franklin and Highlands. The house is well stocked with anything we might have needed, tastefully furnished and very comfortable beds. We spent a lazy day exploring the creek/waterfall and another kayaking the Little Tennessee River. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Relaxing

Although we were only there for a few days this trip, we enjoyed staying in familiar surroundings. Tricia was very nice, allowed us early entry because our flight came in earlier than normal check in. Since I was traveling injured, it was wonderful to have everything all on 1 level. Beds were quite comfy, I had to use the guest bedroom due to my injury, had to pile up pillows so that I could sleep comfortably, luckily there were plenty of pillows. Thank you again for a wonderful "home away from home" Gloria & Bob

This home has been in our family since 1983 when our parents wanted to get away from the Florida heat and found this lovely 3 acre property nestled up against the National Forest. Many of the walls are 'tongue & groove' pine and the floors are all hardwood - so it stayed cool and was easy to keep clean. We have our traditional excursions - the Craft Fairs, Pickin on the Square, Thrift Store Shopping and our favorite places to eat - the 'pie place'! But the best is just waking up in the morning and knowing the rocking chairs are calling our names. We love to gather here.

The National Forest behind the house with the babbling brook and the waterfalls on the property were key features for us. There is that layed-back feeling which beckons everyone to 'relax and stay awhile' as we come up the road.

We have all the conveniences of shopping, restaurants and entertainment, but our home is 4 miles from Downtown Franklin and it seems like I am so far away from it all. There are no sounds but the waterfalls, birds and mountain breezes. I breathe deeper and I think more clearly. The night sky is brilliant and it feels like you can touch the stars. The home is high enough in the mountain elevation that it really cools off at night.
