Kazanu - Oseyan - Clothing Optional residence

Kazanu Residence is owned by Tim & his Sister Anke. Their parents moved to St.Maarten / St.Martin from Belgium more than 30years ago. Tim lives at Kazanu and manages the property. He is also the owner of the famous ice cream shop Gelateria Milano which is located at the beginning of the boardwalk in Philipsburg. He took over the shop after a career change in the marine industry due to Hurricane Irma in 2017 and is loving it ever since. His love for the ocean has not left him though and he spends his free time Windsurfing at Orient Beach where he first started when he was a beach-boy working as a teenager in his spear time and holidays at the family Brink's Club Orient's water-sports with Australians Garry & Kerry Whitfield.

Anke started off her professional career as a Captain on yachts and the Edge passenger Ferry running daily to St. Barth's and Saba. She was also relief Captain on some Megayachs that use the Island as their hub and she sailed large yachts across the Ocean to Europe and the USA. She then opened her own Company Liferaftsetc, a marine safety service company that keeps her super busy but you may see her show her face sometimes on the weekend :)
Anke & Tim who are both adventurers who can recommend a variety of activities on and around the island or leave you in peace to enjoy the amazing ocean views and relaxing island atmosphere.
Another great detail about these two is that their mother language is Dutch but they went to school first in English and then swapped to French on the French side of the Island and they even speak Spanish and Local Creole and have some communication skills in German as well as Italian in the Family, making it super easy to communicate in 7 languages !
