We chose this home for the location and it did not disappoint! Reviews were spot on and the home was very clean and well stocked! We enjoyed being right on the shallow water for the kids to play and was great having 3 kayaks to use! Kids loved the tree swing too! Close to places to walk for food and shopping! We will definitely be back and the host was Awesome and quick to respond to any questions we had!

It was a very nice well stocked cottage. The listing was perfect. The deck was very enjoyable, there was a marina nearby for renting a pontoon. The only down fall was the Canadian smoke set in; we ended up touring the lake and later watched a movie!

We loved the lake and the fire out to enjoy st night. Not the best fishing spot but we went to local state park to fill that void. Make sure you bring off spray for the bugs.

This property was great.Everything was spot on from the description. Plenty of room to stretch out even with 8 of us there. Don't be off-put that it's a small cabin...the way it's been renovated and opened up inside, it was wonderful. It had everything we needed to make an enjoyable stay.It made our "girls weekend"Who could ask for anything more....a room full of windows overlooking Houghton Lake.I would highly recommend!
