Summary:
Welcome to Uncommon Accommodations, a collection of several unique tiny houses and glamping sites on a 14-acre property along the beautiful Lamoille River! Click on my profile to view all the listings & bring your fiends!

Relax in the 6-person outdoor hot tub, brand new treehouse barrel sauna (both shared access with other guests on the property) and enjoy sweeping views of the Green Mountains & a quaint farm across the river. The property includes 2,000 feet of river frontage with multiple swimming holes and access to Dog's Head Falls. A beautiful spot for relaxing by the river, fishing, and enjoying nature.

The Space:
Experience the tiny house lifestyle in The Haven. Tiny house includes a full kitchen, living area with large television, private deck, full height bedroom, sleeping loft, washer/dryer, & more!

Enjoy Elon Musk's high-speed Starlink Wifi. Cell coverage from Verizon & AT&T throughout the property, Johnson village is 5min away and has numerous restaurants, convenience stores, & other attractions.

Guest Access:
Uncommon Accommodations is located in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, including hiking, skiing, and mountain biking.

After a day of exploring, relax in our hot tub or treehouse barrel sauna (shared amenities with other guests), or gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows and stargaze. With its abundance of natural beauty, charming small-town atmosphere, and unique accommodations, Uncommon Accommodations is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and escape the stresses of everyday life. We look forward to hosting you!

The Neighborhood:
Historic Johnson Village is 5 minutes away with numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and other attractions. The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is a popular public trail for cycling, running, walking, and snowmobiling that runs through Johnson and can be accessed less than 5 minutes from the property. Lamoille Valley Bike Tours is located in Johnson and offers bike rentals and guided cycling tours. Butternut Mountain and Sterling Mountain are popular hiking & snowshoeing routes in town.

In addition to the attractions in Johnson, the general area offers many attractions and activities that Vermont is famous for including farm stands, maple sugar shacks, outdoor recreation, and world-class breweries. Vermont’s Green Mountains and nearby Northeast Kingdom offers stunning mountain views, fall foliage, and year-round recreation.

The property is also in close proximity to many popular attractions:

Getting Around:
Two parking spots at your unit. More parking in the upper lot, including two electrical vehicle rapid charging stations. Take a walk down to the beach at the river, or a short hike down the property for more river access and private access to Dog's Head Falls Park, a gorgeous waterfall and swimming hole.

Other Things to Note:
You will share the property with other renters, but your space is private. Hot tub is open year-round and guests from all the listings at the property share access to it.

This property was amazing! Very clean and well kept. The property has groomed walking trails to the local river and waterfall. It was welcoming with a very homey feel! Communications for the rental were also great and speedy! I would visit again in a heartbeat and stay in the same place again!

Cozy getaway

My husband and I came here with our pup for our honeymoon and it didn't disappoint! The Mountain View was so stunning and the tiny home was clean and had all the amenities that you would need to not have to leave the property. There's a short trail about 10 mins to a waterfall on property. We would definitely come back!

Nice property

The tiny home was adorable, clean, and updated. We had a lovely stay. The only thing that felt misleading is that the hot tub and fire pit are shared amongst other renters on the property. There are a few other tiny homes plus campers on the property. It was great that it was animal friendly.

Tyler was an incredibly gracious and attentive host. The tiny house was very modern and had all the amenities we needed for a couple of days’ stay. That said, accommodating 3–4 people is definitely pushing the comfort limits of the space if you’re not sharing beds.The grounds and outdoor amenities were beautiful, adorned with string lights that created an enchanting ambiance, especially with the river and mountains in the background. One slight drawback was the cleanliness of the hot tub, which contained sediment and some hair, raising questions about how frequently it is cleaned.Overall, I highly recommend staying at Uncommon Accommodations, and I will definitely be back for a summer stay at some point!

Tiny Home - Big Personality

We had a wonderful stay at Tyler's tiny home by the river. The location was perfect, just a short drive from Stowe, but still in a quiet and peaceful setting. The home was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the outdoor deck, which was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views of the river. Tyler was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Vermont.

We had a lovely time staying in this tiny house in picturesque Johnson. The house was clean and was stocked with the basics. There was just enough room for two adults and a dog to enjoy a nice getaway in this tiny house. We had a fabulous time on the river with our dog however be aware the path to the river is a steep dirt trail and not the most accessibility friendly. But certainly worth it! There are quite a few restaurants and food options nearby in Johnson and Stowe as well which was very convenient. Tyler was very helpful and responsive.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our small pup to snowboard at Stowe. It’s only approx 30mins to Stowe Mtn. Tyler is a great host, he kept checking in on us making sure we are enjoying out stay. Glad he suggested we park on top ny the entrance as there was going to be a winterstorm and we do not have an AWD or winter tires. The perfect tiny house for us, quiet and cute. Loved the hot tub! Super relaxing after a long day on the mtn. Highly recommend!!!

Stunning

My wife, myself, and our little doggie made our way up to johnson for some R&R and this was exactly what we needed. The property was impeccably maintained and a wonderful place to spend a few days. The area is super clean, the units are spread out enough that you would have all the privacy and quiet that you need. The tiny home was adorable and inside was art from local artists available for purchase, which made a perfect remembrance of our stay. I can’t recommend here enough. My wife and I and our little guy will be back! 12/10 - if you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away and reconvene with nature, but be close enough to town this is the place! Just book it if you’re thinking about it - you won’t be disappointed :-)

Wonderful place for us and the pup!

This tiny house was wonderful. We used it as a jumping off point for day trips, mostly for the pup as it was her first vacation. Unfortunately, because of recent flooding, the river was inaccessible due to cleanliness and also was a little too fast moving for the dog. Dog Mountain, Journeys End, and several other swimming options were very close by and were great options. Sadly we also could not get to the waterfall from the property due to recent flooding and path overgrowth, but we look forward to checking it out next time. Property was clean, And although there are other properties for rent there, we felt like ours was very private. Definitely a great option when traveling with your pup!
