Tastefully upgraded Appalachian log home, professionally designed with a timeless mix of cozy-cabin meets mid-century modern decor. Foxglove Lodge has a style that sets it apart from anything else you've seen in North GA.

Enter into the grand, spacious living area with wood burning stove, vaulted ceilings, and comfortable seating for everyone.

Each of the three levels has it’s own full bathroom, king size bedroom, as well as a separate living room in case you need a quiet moment away - or would rather watch your own favorite TV show.. The four person bunk room is located on the top floor and accessible only through the king bedroom.
*BONUS: There is a “secret/hidden" play room for the littles hidden within the bunk room! Follow the Foxhole Hunt QR code in the guestbook to begin the scavenger hunt designed for kids by our 8yr old. This is fun for the whole family, or let the kids find the clues while the adults unpack & get settled!

In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: An iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, napkins, oxygen and more. :)

The Master suite includes a walk-in shower with a dreamy rain head that feels amazing after a long day hiking or visiting sites around town. Enjoy separate vanities, a spa-like soaking tub, and an adjoining the insta-perfect sunroom with a swing bed which can either be kept private or opened up for the whole family.

Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and silverware you'll need - just bring your ingredients and get cooking. Whether it’s a romantic dinner or feeding a family of 10, we’ve got you covered!! We’ve provided a 6 burner gas grill and an electric griddle as well. Enjoy your meal inside where there is comfortable seating, or if the weather is nice, walk outside to eat on the large deck surrounded by forest and blue mountains. Both eating areas are spacious enough to accommodate 10-12 and will leave you feeling like you are in a treehouse with incredible views!

Wander directly into the forest from the large, 40ft+ deck and explore the cabin’s 14 acres on top of the ridge. Of course, you might occasionally run into one of our two friendly neighbors. They are both a part of our team and are willing to help when should a need arise.

Enjoy the sunrise with a coffee or tea from the various direct view indoor and outdoor seating areas. Coffee pot, K-Cup, french press, and frother are provided.

Game room in garage with a pool/pingpong table, foosball, and air hockey. Garage door can be open to extend the living space to the outdoors in Spring and Fall months. In the lower living area is the coveted 40th Anniversary Mrs. Pacman Head to Head (two player) with Galaga, Dig Dug, Happy, Rolling Thunder, Dig Dug II, The Tower of Druaga, Rompers, Rally-X, Galaxian, Galaga ’88, and Pac-Mania.

DURING YOUR STAY:
We own and manage Foxglove Lodge and truly care about your experience at our family cabin. Should you need anything, we are happy to help and make ourselves available Monday - Saturday 9am – 6pm. We prefer communication via VRBO messenger but please text immediately if there are any issues with the cabin or should anything urgent arise. Our handyman is close by!

We use a touch-pad, pin-code lock system instead of keys to make check-in simple and smooth. We’ll send your unique code 3 days before check-in.

FIREWOOD:
Outdoor FirePit- Please bring your own firewood. There is always a good bit of sticks and kindling wood around the property. Wood can be purchased onsite for $10/bundle of 7. Contact Hosts for instructions.

Indoor (wood burning stove)- Seasoned hardwood only. We will provide a complementary first bundle. After that wood can be purchased onsite for $10/bundle of 7. Contact Hosts for instructions.

TRAVELING WITH A DOG?:
We are now a dog friendly cabin! In effort to keep our cabin extra clean and free from damage, we do have some pet requirements:
1. A $100 pet fee PER dog (2 dogs/65lb maximum)
2. All dogs must be house trained and over 18 months old.
3. If you are bringing your dog, please let us know when booking and we will send you a request for the pet fees and deposit.
4. You must agree to keep your dogs off the furniture, keep them crated if left alone at the cabin, and to pick up after them in the yard.

GUEST ACCESS:

PARKING: 4 vehicle max.

LATE CHECKOUT: Late checkout is occasionally offered for an additional fee when available and agreed upon by both guests and host.

NO SMOKING: No Smoking or Vaping allowed in the Cabin. We reserve the right to charge $300 plus damages if you smoke/vape inside.

WIFI: Wifi is provided through out the home.

GARBAGE: All trash must be bagged and placed in the appropriate bear-safe metal bin - DO NOT place any loose garbage in the bin. Please do not put bags outside of the bin. Doing so can attract bears, raccoons, and other destructive animals. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a $100 fee. We love bears, just not in our garbage. Garbage is picked up on Tuesdays.

SECURITY CAMERAS: In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cabin is equipped with three exterior recording devices. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, not facing the hot tub, and there are no cameras on the inside.

*VRBO prohibits disruptive parties and events, including open-invitation gatherings. A party would include but is not limited to the following:

1. OCCUPANCY: Guests are limited to number of occupants on requested booking. Any additional guests would be subject to up to $200 per night.

2. NOISE: Per House rules and Union County Noise ordinance, no amplified sound is allowed between 10PM and 8AM which also includes any disturbances to the surrounding community

3. ALCOHOL USE: Moderate drinking is allowed but excessive drinking is prohibited, especially any substances which would cause an issue with personal safety, damage of property, or disturbance of neighbors.
