This is a great little property. Favorite part was large deck, very private and overlooking surrounding woods. One day a thunderstorm rolled in; trees were shimmering and talking...so lovely!Cabin itself is small with a great kitchen that is very well supplied. There was even an electric water kettle! dishwasher, microwave, coffee press, the works. One bath, adequate for two. Hot water plentiful and good water pressure. Better bedroom upstairs but no bath up there. It would be fantastic if it had a half bath. Downstairs bedroom has queen bed with very thick mattress which makes it quite high. It is very tight quarters in there. Good closet space. Bed is comfortable. Great selection of pillows, firm to soft. Easy check-in with hosts and they were very responsive to any question. Oh they do ask that you not use the white towels to clean off makeup which is quite reasonable; I bought some cheap wash cloths and used those whenever I needed a towel close to my face. Steps up to the cabin could use some restoration and a handrail at top. Driveway is gravel and fairly steep at the top; it was an adventure every day coming and going! Had to back down from top into fire pit area, 3 point turn to go down driveway. Maybe car with 4 wheel drive, although we did ok in August. Do not recommend with std transmission. Did not use hot tub although it looked quite welcoming. Did not use the fire pit; it was a bit overgrown. Overall, a lovely and very relaxing stay. I would return.

Such a cute place!

We had a great time! The cottage was clean, the views were exceptional, and the hot tub was divine. This area of NC is still recovering from Hurricane Helene, but we still had a lovely visit.

Family Adventure

We stayed for almost a week and were able to take advantage of nearby skiing, hiking, a day trip to Dollywood and more. So much to do within a one hour drive. We enjoyed being able to have such a nice space to make our own food, wind down in the evening with a movie or some board games. Very comfortable accommodations!

Cabin in the woods

We really loved our stay! It definitely had a quiet cabin in the woods feel but also not just in the complete middle of nowhere. House was nice and quaint and neighbors were quiet. The dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard! We enjoyed also being able to get food/groceries just a short drive away. Don't miss grabbing some toffee down the road! Definitely would stay again.

Amazing

The leaves were absolutely beautiful. The beautiful hot tub was so relaxing after hiking in the mountains. In the morning you’ll experience 8 deer walking by the cabin. Not far from the cabin you’ll experience amazing elk. The cabin was roomy and had all the comforts of home and more. Coffee for relaxing in the morning on a huge deck with the beautiful mountain leaves and fresh air.

Wonderful and Perfect Getaway

Honestly, couldn’t have chosen a better place the only thing I could say was that the driveway was super steep but we just parked by the fire pit it worked out just fine. The house was beautiful and so cozy we crashed and slept till 5 the next day lol we needed it though and having a trip and not having a set time schedule to follow was great only thing we had to do was be at the concert other than that we beyond loved the house and relaxing we will deff be looking to come back and stay again we appreciate you letting us stay and truly can’t say enough about how perfect the place is!!!

Perfect Get-Away

Fantastic little spot that we thoroughly enjoyed. Amenities were great, comfortable furniture, lovely deck and hot tub. Property was private and quiet, but wasn't very far from entertainment in Waynesville, Maggie Valley, or Great Smoky Mtns. Thanks to the owners for being easily communicative and providing a relaxing escape.

Peace and quiet

Your just outside of town close to everything very quiet we got to see dear and a turtle on the property, had plenty of fire wood supplied , has washer/dryer combo good size bathroom , cozy living room and your basics internet was very good no problem we spent our evenings watching Netflix

Crabapple Cottage is a cute and cozy A-frame style home. Set in a quiet countryside neighborhood, this lovely home will surprise you with its contemporary touches. The décor and furnishings are comfortable yet elegant. The roomy kitchen is complete with modern appliances, granite counter-tops, and a serving island. The kitchen opens into the living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a beautiful view from the main floor as well as the spacious loft bedroom with a king sized bed. The main floor has room for the family with an enclosed bedroom that has a queen bed plus a single size sleeper sofa in the living room. Crabapple Cottage offers central heat/AC, WiFi, smart TV, hot tub, gas grill, outdoor fire pit, and plenty of parking.

Enjoy the beautiful mountain views while relaxing on the outlooking deck, or relax in the hot tub. In the evening, gather around the outdoor fire pit and cook up a batch of old fashioned S’mores. The children and the family dog will delight while playing in the private fenced in yard. Well trained/behave pets are welcomed. Firewood is complementary for fireplace.
