The Deluxe 2-bdr condo in Gold Coast - Malmok /Au126B was a fantastic place to stay while on Aruba. It is everything it claims to be and looks exactly like the pictures. There is no beach view, but there is a beach within a 15 minute walk. There are also several pools near the unit. The plunge pool in the yard was very refreshing and clean, and we enjoyed being out there very often. There is a brand new restaurant/bar, Brisas di Oro, in the clubhouse near the unit. The food is EXCELLENT and the drinks are very good too! We were a bit confused about check in, but everything worked out at the entrance gate when we arrived. Check out was also a bit confusing, but the property manager(s) were able to answer our questions and straighten everything out. We also had an issue with the safe, but the property manager was able to take care of it quickly. We appreciated the welcome basket & staples that were provided in the unit and did use the washer and dryer once. They both worked fine and so did the other appliances in the kitchen.The only negative aspects were things that are not really within the property manager’s ability to do anything about:1.The smell of Marijuana outside was almost constant and very annoying.2. The air conditioning was extremely cold, even though we made it a little warmer than the 68 degrees it was set at when we arrived. Despite these minimal issues, we had a great time and would stay here again in the future. Thank you for making our stay so much fun!
