Great Location

We had a wonderful trip! The location was great - easy to get to New Orleans, the Gulf coast, close to good restaurants in Slidell, and right on the water. The condo is roomy and comfortable. It was generally clean, but the furniture and carpet could use a good cleaning. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Comfortable and relaxing

The house was amazing. Hard to beat having the canal in the back and lake Ponchartrain in the front. Excellent views from both front and back decks. Especially enjoyed watching all the Pelicans in the front of the house. Debbie was an amazing host with superior communication. Would definitely rent from her again.

Just the right distance from New Orleans

Nice condo/townhouse on the lake. About 30 minutes out from New Orleans. My sons fished off the back dock. We enjoyed the amazing fireworks show all around the lake on New Year’s Eve. Check in was incredibly easy and the owners were very accommodating due to a date change for our vacation.

Very close to New Orleans

It was in a good neighborhood and close to New Orleans.The check in was very easy. It needs a deep cleaning and furniture updated but other then the condo is good.

Great place

We loved the view of Lake Ponchetrain! The drive to New Orleans was very easy, about 30 minutes to the French Quarter. The house was very clean and looked just as the pictures.

New Orleans Trip

We rented the house as a base to see everything in and around New Orleans. The house was perfectly located just out of New Orleans to save money. The house was clean and well layout. We were very happy with the accommodations.

Great location & views!

This home is beautiful & spacious.The view is gorgeous and the dock made for some fishing! The owners were great and accommodating.We are planning to stay here on our next visit. The neighbors are great!Phil’s was our favorite place to eat.Reasonable & delicious!

Home Away From Home

This was our first time renting through a VRBO and our experience was wonderful and we cannot wait to return to this same location. The owners were amazing to work with and had everything you could possibly need to feel as if your still at home while on vacation. The pictures of Debbie's home do not do it justice! This is a beautiful home, in a great location. If you want to visit New Orleans, I would definitely suggest staying here. The commute is quick and easy. You can visit the city life in a few minutes, then return to a quiet, peaceful home for a relaxing stay. The house was so clean, and we felt right at home. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful home for a great get away!!

Work and play

I was in the area for work and found this gem of a place. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The home is roomy and clean.....the view is spectacular from both front and back decks. I also played because my daughter and her family came for an extended weekend and we got to go into the city to enjoy the French Quarter, some shopping, went to City Park, and ate some good food. The host was sooooo welcoming and available. She was in constant communication! We will definitely plan another stay!! Thank you!

Lovely, spacious lakehouse

Great views! Quite, safe neighborhood. Plenty of room for a large group. 2 bathrooms, 2 king-size beds & 1 queen-size bed. Everything clean & comfortable. It's very easy to reach & deal with the owner. The only downside is STAIRS for older adults. You have to take stairs to get into the condo, then 2 of the bedrooms are above the kitchen & living room. Fortunately, the master bedroom is downstairs. Access to the city is easy enough, and it will be even quicker once they get that darn bridge project complete!!!

Clean and Impressive.

Overall, the place was clean, and laid out well. As mentioned to us by the owners, understandably, some storm damage to the dock. Did not detract from our stay. Nice place. Would stay again.

Nice Getaway

We had a great time and Debbie was so helpful with restaurant ideas. The views were wonderful. I loved waking up each morning with my coffee watching the sunrise on the two decks. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

The house was really nice, clean and the surrounding area of Slidell was awesome. Short drive to NOLA across the bridge. Debbie was amazing and so helpful! Definitely recommend a stay with Debbie!

Wonderful & Relaxing

We had a wonderful time. The condo is beautiful and spacious. We brought our flat boat and was able to launch it down at the end of the road at The Point ( I think that’s the name ). We will definitely be back!
