What a great vacation home that you will want to return to time and time again! The breath taking views of this North Tahoe lakefront home will both inspire and comfort you. Enjoy a good book on one of the two decks, crawdad fishing off the pier, a refreshing morning swim, early morning water ski, sunset paddle board adventure - this list goes on and on. There is a game room with a pool table, ping pong table and a hockey shuffle board for some friendly family competition. On chilly evenings cozy up to a fire in the great room's granite fire place while enjoying the view of the alpenglow on the mountains of Lake Tahoe. Winters at this house is a treat - the view Lake Tahoe with the surrounding snow capped mountains will sooth your sore muscles from a long day playing in the snow. The kitchen and 3 of the 4 bathrooms are newly remodeled making this home even more inviting!

Shared pier, please park boat on the house side of the pier and be mindful of neighbors.

Parking:
Winter Months Parking for Three Cars Only. Parking for 4 Cars in Summer.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Nice place with bathrooms for each room. In bad weather we played in the basement game room. Easy use dock and pleasant all around. The main bedroom is next to the road so it can be loud occasionally. Otherwise it was perfect.

What a wonderful weekend on the lake!

This property is the best lake house we have ever stayed at! It's in the most perfect cove and you get full sun all day so hanging out on the dock or the deck is so warm and cozy! The game room was super fun and we made good use of it. The house is very nicely situated close to grocery stores and lovely restaurants. We had such a nice time and we hope to come back next year!

Generally great, details not so much.

This is our third year here. We love it, but some of the small stuff can be irritating. Ice maker didn't work. No solution. Pool table pockets have not held balls for at least 5 years. No chalk on the cue sticks. Again, small stuff. We will be staying there again next year.

The location of this home and the view from the deck is Awesome!

Lovely view, could use some maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Water’s Edge, beautiful view and the dock was put to good use. Street noise was a bit of an issue but there is not much that can be done about that. A few maintenance issues that we reported, an “inspector” came out to look at them but none were fixed before we left. We did some work on the slider screen that was almost impossible to open and close and we got it working much better ourselves. The drains in one of the upstairs bathrooms were VERY slow to drain, making that room almost unusable. Games downstairs were in poor shape, air hockey table very wobbly, cues missing tips for pool table, etc.

Beautiful views but home needs some love

Location is amazing. The views are breathtaking. However, the carpets and couches feel so dirty. The blinds are full of dust. The towels in the restrooms are so old. A little investment into the home will stretch far. I will definitely stay here again if they change the flooring and update the furniture. The lake views from the deck are unmatched. If you are considering renting this home for the lake views, go for it. If you are picky about cleanliness and interior ambience, then skip it.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is 5 stars. The facilities are 2.5. It's just not polished like it should be. Everything is cheap. The roof doesn't leak now but it did once and the evidence is all over the roof. The garage is the main entrance most of the time and it's not finished. The towels don't match. The silverware is miss matched and not enough of it. One cheap thing of soap. Gamesare old yard sale quality. Dishwasher bottom rack is funky. Old washer and dryer. Some updating has been done in the bathrooms but the master is done poorly. The shower door hits the shower head or the towel hook. The stairs are sloped off the deck. The carpet is coming off the stairs to the game room.

Great Lake house!

We were married on the private dock, enjoyed the amenities(boat, game room, and dock). Loved the views from living room, and nice size dock for everyone to hang out. Built a fire, and fished off the dock. The location was perfect for boat rentals, restaurants and gaming. Beautiful kitchen too. The only thing was the noise from the Main Street, but worth it!!! Will return!

Perfect for multi or big family lakefront experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 7 nights in late July, 3 family, 9 total including 3 kids (age 4,7,12). Great location (near Kings beach), lake direct access, spacious, lake view deck, nice quiet neighborhood. The property was clean but some of the stuff broken (e.g. shade, coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, water glasses, shelf) The management professionals are very responsive and responsible. They came with replacement very quickly in such a professional manner, which we were so impressed. The sound of passing cars on the road was a bit noisy during the day, but overall, we love the experience, we would definitely come back again. Perfect for multi families vacation together with beach front experience. We cooked almost every meal, kitchen experience was great. The booking, payment and whole experience is satisfactory.

Beautiful view but less than ideal

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the living space and deck are amazing. Which makes the price ok. Otherwise, we arrived and noticed things could be maintained better. Blinds were bent, dusty. Fridge was a tad dirty.coffee maker was really gross so went out to buy one. Slider door took a LOT of work to get locked. Patio furniture had no cushions/umbrellas but after some searching we found some very dusty items in the garage and cleaned up, set out. I assume this should have been done by management? The traffic noise is terrible and really affected out sleep. Obviously Tahoe homes don’t usually have AC, but sleeping with the windows open was not feasible with the noise from the road. Left vacation feeling exhausted from terrible sleep. Our second day the water was shut off for over an hour. Unsure why. With kids that is a tough one.All to say, we had a great time, the view of the lake, access to the water was as expected. But we wouldn’t rent this home again.

Amazing place buuuut.....

Great location with amazing views. A few friends on mine we're there for my bachelor party. We enjoyed the quietness, views, and South Tahoe which less than a hour drive. This place was fairly clean except the pillows. They were pretty nasty. Also I emailed the property management team and place a number of calls with them and no response. I hope the owner of this property reads this review and reaches out to me. I'd be happy to discuss my concerns with them. I fill the property management team failed this one. Sorry to the owner. You do have an amazing home and would visit again. But only my concerns were answered. God bless

Great Lake View - Perfect for a family

This was our second time staying at this house, and we have had a great experience each time. The view and the deck are fantastic. We had a couple of days with cooler/rainy weather, so the game room downstairs was very popular.

Xmas vacation 2021

Overall. we had a wonderful time. The house is in a beautiful lakeside location, it is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked for a rental. Mischel was responsive, easy to reach and proactive. We had a heater issue the second day of our stay and it was resolved immidieately. We did not give it a 5 star because it is on a busy road and gets quite noisy early in the morning. The house is carpeted throughout and it is only so clean a carpet can get in a rental property with constant traffic.

Great stay/exactly as described

To walk in the door from the garage and see the view is breathtaking. Its a beautiful big house right on the lake with all the amenities. It looks like there are many fun things to do mostly in summer with a kayak and paddle boat etc on property but since staying in Nov we didnt use them. My husband and I just relaxed, watched movies while the kids went hiking and exploring around Lake Tahoe. The game room downstairs was fun too. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to cook for the family. Loved this house!
